Welbeck not getting enough love here.
He's been great along with Mata and Herrera.
He's been great along with Mata and Herrera.
Yup. Shaw is probably just a little bit nervous. I think he's played just fine. One is a 19 year old that is making his debut at the top level, the other is in his prime but has underperformed for two seasons in a row at the top level.
Not really, Fletcher and Mata have been equally dominant. All impressive though, our best players so far.I know it's only a friendly against a poor side but Herrera has been so impressive. He looks head and shoulders above all our other midfielders.
It's not his fault, he's out of position really.I agree shaw looked lost...but it's early
He does. Like the singer, Passenger. Is it me or does Mata have a big head?
Him, Mata and Welbeck our best players so far.Hows herrera looked so far?
Not really, no.Same. Just think of them nobody teams that we were losing and drawing to on the last tour. Surely LA are the quality of a lower Premier League team?
I agree valencia is playing well shaw not a factor and he almost gave the galaxy a goal.Valencia has done a lot more than Shaw..
Guess which one is getting criticized?
The matchday thread is back ....
Super. Controlling the game for us.Hows herrera looked so far?
It is the exact opposite of how we played last season, and even in previous seasons under Fergie. The tempo and quick passing is fantastic. Most impressive is our tempo-there's no play at a walking pace. A lot of one touch play-which will only improve over time.
Fixed. One is a £30m 19 year old that is making his debut at the top level, the other is in his prime but has underperformed for two seasons in a row at the top level.
He doesn't take on players up high usually. He likes to run with the ball from deep with pace.Looks quite nervous to me. Doesn't seem to want to take any risks, and is trying to keep it simple. Understandable really.
Good. Very good.Hows herrera looked so far?
Yes.Are these kit numbers for Shaw and Herrera temporary?
Yes. They are not the official numbers yet.Are these kit numbers for Shaw and Herrera temporary?
Shaw really hasn't taken the fullback on, he needs to show a lot more to be playing as a wing back in this system. I'm pissed Evra left because he is ideal for that role.Funny really. Valencia's been really good I think. Attacking his fullback and putting in crosses, tracking back, being a beast and looking confident. Shaw has been solid too but we've mostly gone down Valencia's side.
Looks neat and tidy. Tried to put in a few tackles as well. But this is just a pre-season friendly and the opposition are not so good to be honest. Anyway, it is still a fairly encouraging start for him.Hows herrera looked so far?
Looks like an actual midfielder.Hows herrera looked so far?
Could be. Preseason numbers aren't always the final kit numbers for the actual season. I expect Shaw to take No. 3 for instance. Are these kit numbers for Shaw and Herrera temporary?
if i'm being honest, with the midfield performance, i'd say our best half of football for 2 or 3That's our best half of football for easily a year.
First nice home kit we've had since AIG 2008/9. (Ronaldo kit)Also I've decided I don't like the home kit. I didn't have an opinion before but the Chevrolet logo is too big and really sticks out. The white trim isn't great either. Hopefully the away kit looks better on the pitch.
they said at the start of the stream that the numbers for the tour could change for the seasonAre these kit numbers for Shaw and Herrera temporary?
