And you are wrong again about variety of goals, Ronaldo has more variety of goals with his right foot left foot (weaker foot), more skill shots (volleys, bicycle, backheels), more headers, more free kicks and penalties. Only thing Messi has clearly more is his dribble goals.

CR7 scores more with his head, scores more with his weaker foot, scores more from penalties, more from free kicks, more from set pieces even scores a larger variety of skill shots. I haven't heard anyone suggest he couldn't cut it against Premiership relegation contenders... but you're suggesting that because he looked good against a team that's not going to qualify for the Champions League this season, that it's evidence of greatness.
Because Ronaldo spent a large part of 2 or 3 years as a traditional winger in a 4-4-2 whereas Messi was mostly a right forward for a 4-3-3 since the beginning.
