Yankees just blew that inning by not respecting the green monster. Would have had 2nd and third with one out but they had to try and run home.

Yankee hero Eovaldi shutting down the Yankees. Love it.
He’s just been pulled now. Gave up a solo shot to Rizzo.

Amazing relay from centerfield through Bogaerts to get Judge out at the plate though. Any other stadium and that shot by Stanton was yard.

Yanks are in trouble now. I’m missing Bachelor in Paradise for this misery.

Home from the beer garden a nicely buzzing (yes there was an Uber involved). I am shocked this is not still in the 3rd inning. Time to watch some playoff baseball!

Congrats, you always looked in control of that one
Many thanks. I was very nervous going into that game cause NY kicked our butts in our final series against one another. Playoffs at Fenway against them though just hits different.

That said… our prize is the Rays starting tomorrow:nervous:

The weird thing about the Yankees is that there seems to be a huge similarity to United in terms of the way they are run. Loads of money with a focus on the big names and then sort of far too much individual baseball & a lack of cohesion . There seems to be no small ball at all because it seems to be not the Yankees way

All they care about is luxury tax, so it's even more bizarre that they refuse to hit the reset button like they should have done 3 seasons ago.

Cashman has the best job in sports, he just fails upwards.

I think if there is one thing we can all agree on is feck The Dodgers, right? Lets have one night, tonight, of harmony and comradeship.

So that went well, this Yankee team even if they would’ve gone past Boston one of wild card game they’re never going to past that Rays side, too good.Boone should go.

On a pale blue dot in space
and the Dodgers went 16-3 which is [checks notes] one less win.
Thing is, if one wants to claim "they beat the shitty Arizona team" they should also note the team that won 107 games also beat the crap out of that shit team.

So, you're no longer against the abortion that is the one-game playoff?
