Unfortunately the stars aligned at the right time for City. Had they got Kane before they wouldn't have got him and had Benzema left last season, Madrid would have been in for him.Definitely bad news that Madrid will be after a striker as they’ll go for Kane, who is the best striker we could get
Why don’t they just fecking get Haaland. Everyone leaves city to it
I don't think Levy would charge him as much compared to a "rival" but Kane also doesn't seem like the type to want to leave EnglandI have a feeling Perez won't fancy spending big on a 30 years old Kane. Not a lot of options on the market I guess.
He doesn't but he'd be mental to not want to go to Madrid (or Bayern if they are hunting). Chances of staying in England is just us and that depends on our budget, and right now we are in owner limbo so no idea on thatI don't think Levy would charge him as much compared to a "rival" but Kane also doesn't seem like the type to want to leave England
I can’t see Kane going abroad. He’ll want to win something in England or it’ll forever be the asterisk to his achievements.Definitely bad news that Madrid will be after a striker as they’ll go for Kane, who is the best striker we could get

Haaland is going to be on his ‘official’ salary plus another 5 times that under the table. Madrid couldn’t afford him.Definitely bad news that Madrid will be after a striker as they’ll go for Kane, who is the best striker we could get

I have a feeling Madrid won’t be spending that big, the “£100m because feck you” price is just for United. I think levy takes 60-70 from Madrid.I have a feeling Perez won't fancy spending big on a 30 years old Kane. Not a lot of options on the market I guess.
Sure. But where are we going to find £200m?Can we send McTominay and Maguire to Saudi? 100m each sounds fair
This is a man who stayed at Spurs, he very could be mental. He doesn't but he'd be mental to not want to go to Madrid (or Bayern if they are hunting). Chances of staying in England is just us and that depends on our budget, and right now we are in owner limbo so no idea on that
He waits a year longer and his options are likely to be extremely limited
Why would his options be limited? He doesn't but he'd be mental to not want to go to Madrid (or Bayern if they are hunting). Chances of staying in England is just us and that depends on our budget, and right now we are in owner limbo so no idea on that

Kane, even at 30 going on 31, will have myriad options on a free - he can play as a 10 as well as a 9. Dependent on how things shake out, he could have us, Liverpool, Newcastle, Chelsea (if they're signficantly less of a mess) the offer to play as a 10- behind Haaland (or if rumours are to be believed, Haaland has release clause come in 2024, which might see Madrid pay to link him up with Mbappe, so Kane could be City's 'Lewa' for the next 3-4 years), for starters...He doesn't but he'd be mental to not want to go to Madrid (or Bayern if they are hunting). No it wouldnt. Not winning with Spurs isnt something that will look strange on a list of achievements. Winning la Liga and maybe a CL with Real Madrid will make more than make up for up for not winning with Spurs. Only reason for Kane to stay in England over Madrid is if he cares about breaking Shearer his record while also winning titles.I can’t see Kane going abroad. He’ll want to win something in England or it’ll forever be the asterisk to his achievements.
He'll be 35 in 5 years. Needs another 48 goals to break Shearer's record so may have to come back to Spurs in 3/4 years max to be more confident of breaking that record.Reckon Kane goes to Madrid for 5 years and then returns to Spurs to break the record. Which ultimately is a pretty smart move for him.
Okay maybe returns in 4 years instead. He looks after himself so I'd back him to do it over a 3 year period. He'll be 35 in 5 years. Needs another 48 goals to break Shearer's record so may have to come back to Spurs in 3/4 years max to be more confident of breaking that record.
I agree in one way but if it's a 1 or 2 year contract and we sign muani or huylund(sp?) As well it could be a benefit for us having the experienced ready made striker and a promising if not quite ready young striker. Some of you that want him at United — enough of the oldies at this club!
