On a scale of signings - This is the biggest signing the club has made since 2002 when we bought Rio. Buying RVP was amazing but he was coming to the end of his career and had a history with injuries so many other clubs didn't want to risk him....but Di Maria is one of the best players in the world who hasn't even reached his peak yet and who every club in Europe would have spent the money on had they had the means to get him

That was bloody exciting too but Di Maria has been one of my favourite non-united players for a while and if all goes well can give us more years of service, plus we are in more dire need than we were for RVP at the time.
I reckon it'll be a defender in for Van Persie with our full-backs pushed up.
