His my favourite human being in the world right now.
Agree. With that composure and ball retention capability, he is able to press the ball forward, hence playing the “link” to our attackers, totally changing the dynamics of our game.Best thing about him is his control. When he has the ball under his feet it's almost impossible to take the ball from him. He uses his physicality and techniques to always escape with the ball under tight pressure it's unreal.
He's the reason we can keep possession of the ball that easily.
very very encouraging, creative and influential for a post injury performance, albeit again an average Newcastle. Looked like he was before the injury. Very glad he scored too.
He has 2 weeks to get through the gears and be in peak fitness for the City/Arsenal games. Thats when we need him to show his class.
I have no idea why you've bolded 'on current form'. The Champions League final isn't played in November. It's played in May. Those teams would beat us in the business end of the Champions League. Hell a woefully out of form Real already beat us.Nope. On current form, only City is better. PSG up in the air. The rest, no.
Actually Real were in form at the time. They beat Barca soon after by a bigger scoreline.I have no idea why you've bolded 'on current form'. The Champions League final isn't played in November. Only because Barca were all over the place and it was a couple of cup games. After that they drew with Valencia and had a string of bad results.Actually Real were in form at the time. They beat Barca soon after by a bigger scoreline.
He’s an absolute standout for us.
Agree with your original point about CL semis being unlikely, although it's only November so who knows. I'd put it down to this squad's relative CL inexperience though, I think we'd be good enough quality-wise to get there depending on the road. Pogba staying healthy is incredibly vital for our season from here on out - if he gets injured like this again we're fecked.Only because Barca were all over the place and it was a couple of cup games. After that they drew with Valencia and had a string of bad results.
Even then, doesn't exactly bode well for our chances given how well we started the season does it?
Yep, it was one of his most consistent games for us too. He's often done great things and then drifted out of games a bit but he kept producing quality moments yesterday, which is probably the most important thing for him.He was just in another league on the pitch yesterday. The difference in class between him and the rest, amazing.
We’ve lost out on about 3-5 points due to his injury.
This years form? The only good side we have beaten is Spurs. On this years form, it would be unfair to say Juve, Real and Bayern are better than us. Napoli are a great team but they are not better than us either.
Right, and Real and Bayern especially have had their own problems this year. Same Spurs team that beat Real btw. This years form? The only good side we have beaten is Spurs.
I said they were about even, not better.Napoli are better than us??!! Their 3rd in their group and have only beaten Feyenoord.
Cup formats are completely different to league formats; the mental aspect is much tougher.
It seems any team that plays pretty passing football is overrated massively.
It's insane how his rating is so low.The man's got everything - could go down as United's greatest ever midfielder.
How the feck has he got a 6.6 rating this season? Fellaini has 6.9 on here FFS.
I reckon so. I don't think I've ever seen a gram of body fat on him.I thought he looked a little leaner yesterday, but it could just be my mind playing tricks on me.
I don’t want to open up a can of worms, but if he wasn’t black I don’t think he would’ve said that...I’ll hide now.Just watching some post match analysis with Andy Townsend. The presenter asked him what does Pogba bring to this Man Utd side, the reply was that he brings physicality and arrogance
Pogba is a very intelligent player. It does help he's bigger and stronger than everybody. His arrogance is awesome. SAF, Cantona and Rio had the same aura.Just watching some post match analysis with Andy Townsend. You are right.I don’t want to open up a can of worms, but if he wasn’t black I don’t think he would’ve said that...I’ll hide now.
Indecisiveness before he came back, probably. Close to 7 is respectable. His last game was possibly his best for us. Even though he was good earlier in the season, he didn't totally boss it like at the weekend. The man's got everything - could go down as United's greatest ever midfielder.

Plus his dance moves. And he's so well-spoken!I don’t want to open up a can of worms, but if he wasn’t black I don’t think he would’ve said that...I’ll hide now.
Dont think it'll work. Our players can't play thought middle and our full backs can't offer width by themselves. Martial or Rashford should play, preferably both.---------------De Gea---------------
--Valencia - Bailly - Rojo - Young--
-----Fellaini -Matic - Herrera-------
---------------Pogba-----------------
----------Lukaku - Ibrahimovic-----
Saw that lineup somewhere in another forum, how do you guys feel about it? Could it work in away games against top teams?
I feel you would drop a CM and play an extra CB. Go 3 at the back. The team you posted is very narrow and if the fullbacks need to offer a bit of width we need some extra cover at the back.---------------De Gea---------------
