So we can't criticise him because he's our best midfielder?Lets bench him and play McTominay and Matic together, that will show big bad Paul Pogba.
You people deserve mid-table.

We can but we have so many issues it is a waste of time.So we can't criticise him because he's our best midfielder?
It is, yet he's not standing out. Removing his reputation and nobody would be scouting him.We can but we have so many issues it is a waste of time.
The squad is poor, really really poor.
That was half time so I’ll let it pass, what say you now?He hasnt been good but his teammates arent helping him . Everyone is slaughtering him for losing the balls but look at where he gets them.
He got a ball literally passed to him when he was literally surrounded by 3 players. One was basically on his back and the two in front blocked every passing lane for him.
What is he supposed to do? Hold the ball and dribble past them but even Pogba wont be able to do that all the time.
He wouldn't have lost it 3 times though if he had...The 3 times in a row he lost the ball in front of our defense was hilarious though. I get it he shouldn't play close to the defense or that deep but what was his problem in keeping the ball in his possession at least once out of these 3 times ?
He's doing the same thing he always does when played in that role.Is Ole working with him in training? The player should obviously be intelligent enough to know that he's over playing & needs to start moving the ball quicker. I'm wondering if Ole is too scared of reprimanding him.
This.Rinse Madrid next Summer, buy 2/3 new midfielders.
Hope it's spent on top notch players and not rubbish.This.
I think this is what the club is thinking as long as they get an acceptable fee for him.
I think if we sign Sancho and Maddison we will have a decent front four. Then you just need some decent MFs. Not stars but ones who can do a good job. I dont think Mctominah is up to it.Hope it's spent on top notch players and not rubbish.
We'll 'Try'Hope it's spent on top notch players and not rubbish.
He's regularly been caught in possession during his time here. He seems to have stepped up to a whole new level this season though. Would have expected him to be more solid after the Palace assist. He was even worse yesterday though. We were lucky that Southampton were too toothless to take advantage. He's doing the same thing he always does when played in that role.
I think this is what we have planned but it could easily backfire. If Zidane has a bad season then he's gone with Jose his likely replacement. I don't see Pogba being to eager to go there in this scenario. We should have sold him & let them pay on tick as they couldn't afford to pay the full amount upfront.Rinse Madrid next Summer, buy 2/3 new midfielders.
The Pogcester United brigade have really started to grind my gears. We always used to say that no player is bigger than the club, Sir Alex often said it, but for these fans a player with such a low contribution to the greatness of this club has become bigger than the club. You hear stuff like 'United don't deserve Pogba', its nauseating.I recognise his talent and that he is capable of great things but after watching him every week for a 3 year period, I can't think of a player with a worse reputation/hype to performance ratio.
Then people claim he's POTY/Ballon D'Or material?!? I simply can't belive we are watching the same player every week.
You look fondly on lots of players over the decades, with many 'greats' that we still talk about. Unless things change hugely, the mention of Pogba in 10 years time will just bring a shrug of the shoulders. A footnote in Manchester United history.
i dont expect him to do everything, but do expect our best paid player to do somethingSome of the passes he recieved where horrendous. It's the players around him that need to take responsibility as well. I mean, you can't expect the guy to do everything.
Still, he should have done better.
I genuinely listen to some of them after games and wonder if it's just that I don't know anything about football (which I guess could be the case) because what I have watched is so different to them. The Pogcester United brigade have really started to grind my gears. And very quiet today, I’m sure they will be back when he creates a goal when we are already comfortably leading in a game. The Pogba acolytes are delusional IMO.
What does his wage have to do with anything? Sanchez is our best paid player anyway.i dont expect him to do everything, but do expect our best paid player to do something
sanchez plays for inter milanWhat does his wage have to do with anything? Sanchez is our best paid player anyway.
Pogba infuriates me as much as anyone else. I'm not defending him but i do think that he gets too much of criticism. Some of the passes he received in the positions he took up has more to do with the passer than the receiver. Again, i am not defending him to the hilt, he should have done better in receiving it or at least crapped on the person passing it to him.
I think Pierera was much more guilty of losing the ball than anyone else on the pitch.
The moment he has an assist the toxic posts of things such "anyone who thinks Pogba should be sold go and feck yourself etc" will be back in full force as they were during the Chelsea match. And very quiet today, I’m sure they will be back when he creates a goal when we are already comfortably leading in a game.
By that reasoning, Dan James should take it down a notch. We not paying him to perform so well.sanchez plays for inter milan
how much we pay players should dictate what we expect of them in my view. that's why people were so disappointed with sanchez... if he was on 10k per week he was probably a mild success
We have a weak minded coach. We have already lost a game over this nonsense. Pogba will never be balloon d’or like he wants unless he learns to listen. Is Ole working with him in training? The player should obviously be intelligent enough to know that he's over playing & needs to start moving the ball quicker. I'm wondering if Ole is too scared of reprimanding him.
Yea unless he improves dramatically this is what will happen. Except he will be twenty million richer. I think his reputation precedes him somewhat. ferguson was right in ways.I recognise his talent and that he is capable of great things but after watching him every week for a 3 year period, I can't think of a player with a worse reputation/hype to performance ratio.

Ole is not weak minded. He was a star much bigger in club football than Pogba is or maybe will ever be. Ole isn't afraid of any of them. Jose was not weak minded - he is one of the most decorated coaches. I am sure it's not about whether they dare to coach him, it's about whether he is coachable or capable. We have a weak minded coach. We have already lost a game over this nonsense. Pogba will never be balloon d’or like he wants unless he learns to listen.

Pogba does something noteworthy one game in every eight. And his fanboys dine out on that as justification for several weeks after. And very quiet today, I’m sure they will be back when he creates a goal when we are already comfortably leading in a game.
