It's a point but, goodness me, for all the talk about playing to win every game, we really do go into these games against the "top" sides with an inferiority complex.
It boggles the mind that we try to play out the back. First, we are not very good at it in general but, then against a team that relishes pressing. We had a big advantage with size which we didn't utilize, Pogba, McT, Rashford, Martial would have won anything punted towards them.
Given our capitulation to let them have the ball and how bad Bruno was the few times we got him the ball, it made zero sense to keep him on the pitch. Why didn't Cavani come on for him instead, I'll never wrap my head around that choice. We were happy to throw the ball away, at least could have done it by trying to get Martial and Rashford out wide instead.
Big opportunity missed here.
