I was extremely worried about this match, and the experimental squad that was designated to play (when I saw the starting line-up my initial reaction was "what is this shite?"). However, first half was very good and it all functioned pretty well. Pogba was great, showed a lot of attacking intent, and the goal was just glorious. Rooney also played a very good match, was surprisingly quick, and his first touch seemed to not let him down. The only thing that irritated me the most in his performance was his pressing. Everytime he tried to "harass" the opponent, the latter easily passed the ball beside him, or simply overtook him.
Overall a very good first half, and a sleepy second half. Swansea certainly wasn't up for it, they were very slow, and gave us a lot of room to play our game. So let's not get carried away, because with a fast opponent we may struggle. We have to be much quicker with and without the ball against Arsenal.
