I think he is referring to when we beat City at home in 2015. Pellegrini was still the manager. We also beat them in january 2015 away.
That will have been before Guardiola became manager though. Things have changed since then.

Yeah, even against Guardiola away last season we should have killed the game off in the first half before losing it in the second.
They are better now, yes, but the best way to try and beat them remains the same. Same way you would go about trying to beat Pep's Bayern or Barca.

Son is useless against teams like this - he is terrific when he has space to run into, but against teams that pack the box he's quite pointless. Missing Alli's trickery and instincts in the box right badly.
If City plays in over confident mode, Arsenal will counter punch them.
Basically they play similar style, but City is benefited with more pacey players against snail like Arsenal defenders.

Why is Alli not playing?
This game needs a goal, either from Palace to kick Spurs out of their torpid play. Or a goal by Spurs so palace actually have to push out a bit and have a player at least on the halfway line, preferably in the opposition half.
Unfortunately think Arsenal will lose by 3 or 4 - 1 today.
