Chelsea starting to get some luck - Alli stupidly gets himself a yellow that rules him out of the Chelsea game next week.

They could indeed pip Arsenal for 3rd
They are as good a title challenger as any other team. Overall they are probably the most consistent squad in terms of week to week performances. The title race is wide open.

That is a beautiful goal from Walker. So nonchalant.

Pochettino has done such a good job with Spurs. He hasn't even spent that much has he?

Bugger all. Most of the team is made up of academy players and players bought by previous managers. Song, Alderweild and Alli are the only first team players I can think of.

It's such a young team now, too. He really is excellent at building sides.

Dare I say it, I'd love for him to be our next manager.

Interesting that Dier has already had a 5 yellow suspension, Lamela is serving one this game and now Alli has one coming up. Spurs must be the team with the most yellow cards till now

Very impressive. He's basically done the opposition what every Spurs manager does in that he hasn't wasted loads of money of average players and has worked on making what he has the best he can make it. Given the team a good shape, mentality, work ethic and is improving players. A manager to keep an eye on for sure.

N'jie as well. But think he's sold more than he's bought in any case.

Remember all the moaning at the beginning of the season because we only beat them 1-0 which is still their only league defeat so far this season

Mousa Dembele is an absolute beast of player. Dier and Ali get the headlines because they are young and English, but Dembele is the standout player in Spurs midfield and the stand out CM in the Prem this season. He's really struggled with his hip injury for the last 2 seasons, but now he's totally fit, pain free and bossing virtually every game.

Excellent performance from Spurs, one of the best so far this season. W.Ham just couldn't handle the pressing, energy and fluidity of play. The only downside was Alli's needless yellow card (so misses the Chelsea match) and the late goal conceded.

Just over one-third of the season gone now, with Spurs unbeaten since the opening day and only 4 points off the top of table. Good stuff.

Like Van Gaal he has a system that doesn't rely on individuals. Man City, on the other hand, rely on individuals. Without Kompany, Silva and Aguero they are greatly reduced as a team.

You're doing really well. Glad we beat you on opening day, you look better every week.

Must be an awesome feeling for the Dad.
