Nothing to play for. Please play a few of the kids.
Points per game this season:Would surely be fairer to judge a football manager on how well he manages footballers. We don't have many
It better not be, otherwise what was the point?
People are judging him but if our captain let literally the highest scoring player ever take the penalty like he should've, we probably would've gone on to win this game.
The owners are brainless, the staff are brainless, the players are brainless. Things take time. I'm not sure we should be getting rid of one of the very few people at the club who understands how to build a successful football club.
Yes it is…..but due to the players and not Ralph, what we see in the media, his comments will be very much dilute compared to what will have been said behind closed doors. Ralph has been literally inches away from saying what he really thinks on interview, THIS time a why the play is so bad, these absolute cowards and frauds have been called out for what they truly are. This is worse than ole.
WORSE.
You know you're out of arguments when you start attacking the poster. It’s you that’s clueless if you thought he was going to come in and save the season. Has he performed worse than many including me expected? Yes, but for me that just symbolises how deep the problems are and hiring Conte would solve none of them. We aren’t catching up to City and Liverpool without doing something radical and that included bringing in a big picture guy. I’m sorry that you can’t see it.
Yeah, it is baffling. Can't understand that at all.This. At least have the courage to play the likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Hannibal Mejbri, and see how they respond. Surely we are not finishing top 4 and it adds no value to our future giving time to departing players or underperformers.
It's shocking that this even needs pointing out to people really. The club will soon start using him properly, unless they didn't know who they were hiring.Tweet

Brilliant tweet
Yeah let’s kidnap Carrick from his family and force him to come back to manage United for 4 games against his will because we’ve got shit players who can’t even score a penalty.Get this cnut fraud out of my club right now.
Would rather bring Carrick back.
This german fraud hasn't a clue how to manage top tier players or motivate/organise a team.
No, Ole can feck off from any material role, because hes useless and has no pedigree in structural remits.Shall we offer Ole a club role somewhere too?
Well we could have scraped to 4th and done whatever we plan to do next season... if we had got a competent coach instead of this fraud ..Rangnick hasn't been good. But what we're seeing really is the result of a decade worth of institutional decline.
No effort was ever put in to implement a playing style or footballing structire. We've seen a lot of young academy graduates and signings fail to develop on their initial promise because of this. Billions have been spent on players who didn't complement each other and couldn't play effectively together.
He’s garbage mate. Ole without a shadow of a doubt is a better manager for me. He wasn’t good enough but way better than this poser. He had us midtable with a 'better squad' this season and lost 4-1 to Watford. Maybe the better squad is actually worse
He is, but Ole is not better, no way. This is Ole's squad, not Rangnick's. Hard to do something in half a year when half the squad checked out due to the previous manager. He’s garbage mate. Should've just stuck with Carrick. 1.71 is still horrendous, it just isn't relegation form just yet.Points per game this season:
Ole 1.42
Carrick 2
Rangnick 1.71
The whole point of sacking Ole was to bring in someone who could improve things.
You're right, United don't need a manager. It’s interesting to see the number of posts that vehemently blame RR but didn’t a few previous managers face the very same problem as RR with many of these same players?
And it’s a squad that could easily get top 3 in a season like this.He is, but Ole is not better, no way. This is Ole's squad, not Rangnick's. Hard to do something in half a year when half the squad checked out due to the previous manager.
Doesn't seem like he tells the players much of anything as we're a mess of a team, he does the vast majority of his talking in press conferences it seems. Personally think he realized he was in over his head months ago and checked out mentally a long time ago.I struggle to see why this thread is being bumped. I'm not sure Ralf told Bruno to miss a penalty and be crap today. The goals we've conceded today I don't put on the manager. The goals we should've scored I don't put on him either.
If the club really wanted Top 4 this season, they would have gotten players in January or hired Conte as you said.I knew EXACTLY what we were getting into with Ralf when we appointed him. I knew that his appointment wasn’t some panic to get Top 4, otherwise we’d have got Conte or gone for someone like Valverde. Us appointing him said to me that we’re addressing these deeper issues and no longer interested in papering over cracks. Top 4 was a bonus objective in my eyes. Even in the press release United did, talked more about Ralf being a club builder rather than being some title winner, which is true.
Elsewhere hopefully. His club building better be 1000x better than his interim managing
He's arguably the worst manager we've had since Busby. Only O'Farrell has a worse win ratio and even then only just.Worst manager we've had post Fergie. He's been dreadful.
"I am excited to be joining Manchester United and focused on making this a successful season for the club. The squad is full of talent and has a great balance of youth and experience. All my efforts for the next six months will be on helping these players fulfil their potential, both individually and, most importantly, as a team." - Ralf RangnickEven in the press release United did, talked more about Ralf being a club builder rather than being some title winner, which is true.
Why didn't you guys get himHe’s an awful manager.
Anyone would with these players. Seems like players have also checked out a long time ago.Doesn't seem like he tells the players much of anything as we're a mess of a team, he does the vast majority of his talking in press conferences it seems. Carrick was part of the Olé regime, there was a big risk that over the season he was going to get the same 1,4 as his "mentor"... A change was needed, we just managed to choose the wrong horse, and to worsen things we didn't give him any support in January.Should've just stuck with Carrick. 1.71 is still horrendous, it just isn't relegation form just yet.
Think he's been lucky the players bailed him out with a couple of draws, otherwise I'd look a lot worse for him.
You are really hopeless to keep blaming Ole and defending Ralf as interim manager. Ralf has no clue. He MIGHT be good in many other things, but he is a really bad interim manager. No, Ole can feck off from any material role, because hes useless and has no pedigree in structural remits.
Funny isn't it?People blaming him for this

You don't judge someone's ability upstairs by their managerial ability, much like you wouldn't judge a baker on their ability to cook burgers.Shall we offer Ole a club role somewhere too?
You should be, hopefullyElsewhere hopefully.
