It's a publicist's nightmare, imagine your super famous client slaps a kid on camera and then it turns out the child has autism and was at a game for the first time

only way it could have been more unfortunate is if the kid had leukemia and taking a photo of Ronaldo's right leg was his dying wish

This normalisation by supporters of behaviour that wouldn’t be remotely acceptable in any other profession or walk of life is weird. Sure, it’s not the end of the world, but poor behaviour isn’t binary. It’s still worse than not slapping the hand of a 14 year old for no apparent reason and breaking his property.

Imagine the postman doing that to your child as he passed by to drop in some letters. You’d rightly think he was a lunatic.

I give 0 tosses if we lose every game but see us try to the final whistle. This Ronaldo story has been blown so out of proportion. Ronnie would have in the dressing room been disgusted with his reactions but everyone saying his assaulted this kid are jokers, he broke his phone not his hand, wrist or even got a bloody bruise from Ronnies actions. Too much adrenaline to stop himself knocking a phone out of a child's hand, but not quite enough to work sufficiently hard to make any sort of impact against one of the worst sides in the league. It's a fine line he has to tread.
