Felt like that was a statement in the second half. He knows it's his time to shine for the next month.
 
He’s a fine stand in, especially with Fred + Sabitzer as options.
We looked a lot better after he got into the match in the second half, the next few matches will be interesting because if he struggles he’s almost certainly gone in the summer, if he’s not already.
 
Difficult job today with a man down and no midfield partner due to Bruno doing whatever. Done well.
 
His best match since the early part of the season, lots of important defensive stuff and that type of game always suits him more than when we are expected to control the game. Needs to take this into the Cas suspension games, brittle confidence doesn't help him.
 
He was alright today, seems to find his level playing against relegation sides. Still should be moved on in the summer
 
This guy has checked out of this club, mentally. He knows he's gone this summer and doesn't like being a backup.
 
Really good when he came in today. In a way this bit part role and really having to fight for his opportunities might be benefitting him. Hopefully he can carry this form in the next few games as we'll need him at his very best to do any sort of competent job at replacing Case.
 
Other than turned and moved like a tanker, he's pretty good everything else.

Just glad we didn't sell him in January. That would be a disaster.
 
Monstrous game today, made a couple of goal saving tackles, moved the ball well, and drove us forward.
 
Have to agree with posts on here he really did well today and was one of our best players if not our best
 
He had a really good second half. Still don't think he's suited for the DM role, he is dragged out of position too often.
 
Played really well defensively. Fair play to him. Hopefully he can continue to play like that in the next few he's going to play.
 
Good performance, his value shown in this type of game.

If he is willing to stay on bench, he would be a useful option for the manager to switch the tactics.

We've been down this road before with him. He was decent today, but every other game he has had this season has been average to abysmal. He needs to be moved on and not kept around blocking a youth prospects time for mins
 
He did really well today coming on. Hopefully he can have a string of performances like this . It does feel like his strength is getting the ball and charging with it rather than showing for the ball with off the ball movement or picking out a pass
 
He was a best player after Martinez, it’s very rare he comes on as a sub and does well but the game and situation suited him.

He shouldn’t be here next season but he is going to start a few games now. I doubt he’d have started 3 or 4 games in total between now and end of season without that sending off today, now he’ll probably get that in a row. It’s a big opportunity to either win over ETH or put himself in shop window.
 
That nearly own goal scared me. Can he play with Bruno in a midfield middle two until Casemiro returns? Watching him today seems like he’s quite capable of it
