Magical Manchester United.
Arsenal played decentish against them at home up until the red card, so we might be OK at home. At Munich... my God, let's hope we somehow get our shit together defensively. Their movement will have us all over the place.

Really looking forward to this, your fans have been great in 2010 in Munich, hope it's the same this year again.

If we can win the first leg and keep them scoreless(even a 1-0 will do) we have a chance. Its cup football after all.

And I'm all out of bubblegum 9️⃣
This is a potential gift to Moyes. We wouldn't have been favourites against Bayern with or without him, so he's got an excuse if (when) we go out. Of course, if we go out by 0-8 on aggregate he might still have some questions to answer.

Let's keep it below double figures on aggregate and I'll be happy.

We can at least make the atmosphere electric at OT, might entice Kroos to join us :)

(Ignoring the fact they'll probably manage a cricket score)

Moyes vs Pep.

One is the most thorough tactical perfectionist on the planet and the other is David Moyes.

This is actually the perfect tie for Moyes because we're up against a side we can all agree are the best, so he can transfer his Everton tactics to our side without complaint. This should be him in his element, if you think about it - plucky underdogs going up against a behemoth of a side.

We're going to be negative, pragmatic and he'll hope to make us as difficult to beat as possible.

I'm expecting a negative 4-5-1 with plenty of bunkering both home and away.

If Bayern score early in the first leg, odds are on for them to either get a cricket score, or for Moyes to try desperately to keep the score low in favour of damage limitation.

Don't expect anything like a spectacle of football or for us to go out with a bang.

We're out of the tournament, though, whichever way we want to look at it.

Moyes: Hopefully we will be able to achieve a shot on goal during the 180 minutes of football. If not, then we will certainly try to make life difficult for them on the cricket...football pitch
