City will continue to pursue Koulibaly despite de Laurentiis's hard stance alongside their chase for Lionel Messi.

We could help out here, let us have BrewsterLiverpool's chase for Thiago is complicated by the fact that they're still trying to sort out Wijnaldum's contract and an overall lack of sales.

Erm..
That feeling is universal
I think there's a word for that feeling.
Alright, my bad. I didn't think twice before pressing the post button. Nothing against the race or the culture as whole.Considering that half of them are 5'9 and taller, the nature of your feeling seems even more obvious.

Just because one player didn't need to bed in does not mean it isnt true. I can name you signings over the last 2 years.
Fred, Keita, Fabinho, Rodri, Le Celso, Ndombole, Cabellos and many more.

Could look at it slightly different- if United will likely get him anyway, then Dortmund is running out of time to have the cash in hand to spend elsewhere in the market.Ah play the long game and bid a week before the season starts giving Dortmund no time to find a replacement meaning the deal collapses. Oh well Woodward can tell all the fans we made an offer.
The poster actually said they need time to gel, you're the one who gave a time period, from the past players, it is quite clear a minimum of 4-6 months is required. The relevant person for us here, Fred, needed more than just a month's time to adjust. And he didn't start to gel well until he got a string of competitive games together with the team. So @UnitedSofa's argument still holds.
One example. I thinkDid Fernandes require time to 'bed in'?
No
It's a myth that players need to time to gel and adjust to the squad. Adjust to the Prem, yes that may be the case. Adjust to the squad, tactics and gel together. Not so much.
The only way that they can efficiently 'gel' is by playing games together. Competitive games at that.

We lost to Palace this past season. If we can't deal with Crystal Palace and Brighton with our current squad we have bigger problems than a few new signings.

Is he saying that because they couldn't let Guendouzi go? I guess a second chance isn't a bad thing for either party.Tweet

No Partey then.

Most likely yeah. They can't afford Partey. Is he saying that because they couldn't let Guendouzi go? I guess a second chance isn't a bad thing for either party.
Partey was never going to be sold unless the release clause was triggered. That has always been Atletico's position. The same goes for Oblak.
It wouldn't even surprise me if man city'sTotally agree but I never thought for a second he'd come to us. City put all the groundwork in to get Pep with the former Barca staff at snr management level. It's no wonder he'd go there.
I think they might be selling more players than we think in this window. It wouldn't surprise me if they announce a bunch of sales after their acquisitions. How on earth could they sign both koulibaly and messi in the same window?
Easily because money is no objectHow on earth could they sign both koulibaly and messi in the same window?
If you say so , Champ.Werner already stated he wanted to move abroad and turned down Bayern,
Ziyech stated also he wanted to move abroad and Ajax had his release clause taken out so they could make more.money from a sale,
No one else went in for either despite Werner having a release clause.
Chilwell at £50m is insane and for sure no one else was in for him at that price.
Will take first refusal on Mahrez thenI think they might be selling more players than we think in this window. It wouldn't surprise me if they announce a bunch of sales after their acquisitions.
Would be like a new level of farce if we go after a City player then get rejected. Will take first refusal on Mahrez then
I have always thought his but convinced myself I must have just imagined it but probably more likely is it's true and just a glossed over minor fact for the same of the no doubt millions of clicks the last few days.I thought Pep and Messi didnt get along?
Don't forget that City have a bunch of players that they loan out, like Jack Harrison, Zack Steffen, Marlos Moreno, Patrick Roberts, etc. They can get a decent amount of money from those kind of sales. Will take first refusal on Mahrez then
We are a farce at board level already so wouldn't worry about thatWould be like a new level of farce if we go after a City player then get rejected.

Handle what? How does a coach handle this kind of player?
This kind of player.Handle what?
What kind? Are we talking prevailing gossip or substantiated fact? This kind of player.
You either pander to them or risk alienating one of the best players ever in the sport. The third option is to integrate them smoothly and make the whole team work, which only Pep has achieved so far. This kind of player.
A player that has the power to remove a president.Handle what?
If the coaches name is Koeman, he resignsA player that has the power to remove a president.
The rule book is out the window remember. How on earth could they sign both koulibaly and messi in the same window?
