I think I was involved in the most hilarious match of all-time, from my own perspective. Before I tell you what happened, my mics broken so I wasn't talking to the guy at all, which made it even funnier. It was an Italian guy by the way with the most typical accent you'll ever hear. Sounded late teens early 20s to me and it was on H2H seasons.
Anyway, the guy I was playing starting talking over the mic at the start of the game, telling me how he'd needed 4 points from 5 games but that he'd only gotten 1 from 4, and had to win this one to get out of division 4. I needed two wins from two to get back to division 3 so I wanted to win as well. He warned me not to lie down for him though -I had no intentions of doing so- because he wanted to fight for his promotion.
Anyway, I was already finding this funny, because I loved how fired up but friendly the guy was at the same time.
The match started and things only got funnier. He made orgasmic noises at every shot on target which would've made Gary Neville proud, and when a long shot of mine went wayward he lectured me on why I shouldn't take long shots as they're often unsuccessful.
Ironically, at a corner, he said he hated corners and I proceeded to score. He then started to lecture his defence on how poor they had been and on how he expected them to up their game.
I controlled the game in the 2nd half and he started to become frustrated. He was playing as AC Milan by the way, so he started lecturing Ibra about going into offside positions, and called Pato shit every time he misplaced a pass.
When I scored my 2nd goal, he broke down and started shoting "feck me" repeatedly. I was knotting myself by this stage. He was frustrated and sounded on the verge of tears, but congratulated me when I won. I felt sorry for him by this stage.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that during this he was playing Green day music as a 'performance boost' and sang along to it hilariously out of tune as well.
Made my night.
