Yeah it's a great show. Super Hans comes out with some absolute classics at times.

"Jez, can you tell me as a mate, as someone who knows me really well, is the bottom half of me on fire?"
I like Han's simple but hilarious 'the secret ingredient is crime'.

Did you offer him an aspirin?
Jez: "Let's start by getting rid of this."

Super Hans: "That stays. Thats the reason I fell in love with this place."

Jez: "You want a washing machine in the pub?!"

Super Hans: "It'll freak them out. What the feck's a washing machine doing in a pub? Jesus, I need a drink yeah."

Yeah, and followed by:

Jez: "But Hans, people like lager."

Super Hans: "People like Coldpay and voting for the nazis. People can't be trusted Jeremy."

I seriously think (last season spoiler) when
Jez ate the dog
it may have been one of the best moments of television ever. I was actually crying when I watched that.

I think someone started a seperate thread for it.

I've got it recorded but not managed to watch it yet. It was good by all accounts though.

Yup. Good episode. Not anywhere near its best but still way ahead of most things on tv at the moment.

Dig up stupid!
didn't think it was a great episode myself, had one or two moments (Hans never fails to crack me up) but overall thought it was all a bit 'forced' - its unusual for a peep show episode to pick up right after the previous one but i guess they felt the needed to show the birth reactions

I thought this episode was fecking hilarious. It's gotten better and better as the series has gone on.

Super Hans getting his crack back with wooden stick in hand and "Kenneth" were particular highlights.

Just caught up on the last two episodes. Brilliant. So rare for a show to still be on top form as far down the line as the seventh series.

Aye, but then again 7 seasons down the line it's only had 40 episodes... Compare that to American comedies and it equates to just under 2 seasons. Quality over Quantity.

When I think about something like Scrubs, a comedy whos first series I rate as one of the funniest and poignant things I have seen, it's no wonder that several seasons down the line it just become a mockery of itself. I don't see how you can write over 100 episodes for any premise and still hope to retain a high level of quality... very few shows (if any) can claim they've done that.

That episode is the episode that got me and the mrs into Peep Show.

When Mark found the dead dog stuffed in the bin of the barge was quite possibly the funniest thing i've ever seen.

My favourite episode ever I think.. though there has been plenty of great ones:lol:.

Loved this weeks episode, it was kinda old school peep show back to basics.. just the banter between Mark and Jez. The Pizza through the lettebox scene was quality.

I've watched the first six series of this in a week and a half. One of the few modern shows, along with Misfits, the Inbetweeners and the West Wing that I can genuinely describe as addictive.

My favourite episode is when Jez is picked for jury duty. His train of thinking is hilarious. Super Hans is a brilliant character too, but Mark's musings steal the show.

"Hey! Wow, I'm actually good at this. Maybe I'm a natural - yeah, I'm a jogger! Of course, there had to be a sport for me, I just never realised. Legs like two great steam locomotives, pumping away, I'm unstoppable - JESUS, is that a stitch - feck, I'm gonna be sick, I need to walk. Oh, I think I'm gonna puke, I'm literally going to die, ugh, what an idiotic boob I was back ten or eleven seconds ago"

"Maybe that was actually good sex? Loosen up, Corrigan - that's what happens in the bedroom now: no old fashioned fumbling and kissing, a lesbian rapes you whilst you dream about your mother"

"Sperm is like lending someone less than a fiver. You can't really ask for it back."

"I thought it would look petty and vindictive not to, and as a petty and vindictive individual I have to take extra care not to appear petty or vindictive."

Shame the first three episodes of season 7 aren't on the 4oD YouTube channel, I'm gonna download the whole season as a torrent I reckon and kick back with it over the weekend. How does season 7 compare with the rest?

Johnson is a legend of a character.

I actually thought S6 was the weakest of the lot, still good TV, but not up to the previous standards.

Which is why I was so happy that S7 turned out to be an awesome return to form. The Christmas episode is absolutely magnificent.

I think series 6 is very underrated, I thought the same i.e. weaker series, but recently I watched it all again on 40D and found it extremely hilarious. Not to mention Elena is the hottest chick in any series to date and the way she plays Jez is quality.

Episode 1: JLB comes crashing down.. Mark becomes a stand up comedian and that infamous fire extinguisher scene with Dobby

Episode 2: Find out whos the father of the baby.. Jez tries to impress Elena through being a Dilf/poetry and lies to Mark when he walks in.

Episode 3: Jez takes a wank bullet and Marks dreams are shattered for ever.

Episode 4: Find out Elena's a lesbian, Mark goes into business with Johnson and fecks it up by being caught workng in a mexican restuarant.

Episode 5: The NYE party, Gerrard getting overly drunk, the Lesbian engagement & Super Hans' snake 'Red and Black jump the feck back'

Episode 6: Jez tries to kill his lesbian love rival, Super Han's kids, Mark 'driving' nuff said
.

This show is absolutely brilliant. Just finished the whole thing yesterday. Are they doing another series? Please tell me they are.

They are.

I recall the writers said they could keep the show going on for ages. Not sure I like that, don't think series 6 and 7 have been up to the standards of previous ones.

Great.

Personally I think it's been very even. Compared to most shows at least. But yeah, the first few seasons were probably the best ones.

Does anyone watch that sketch show of theirs? I've watched a few youtube clips but it really seems to pale in comparison with Peep show. Seems to be a wacky laughter track sketch show.

Yeah but at the same time, it's much easier for them to maintain a higher quality. When you see American comedies that are 22 episodes long and end up being full of filler and crap it makes you appreciate the amount of episodes.

I'd prefer 6 good episodes to 12 poor ones.
