I like new things.

The new design looks great, site master. Congratulations on the successful migration.

Question: Is there a way I can directly jump to the last page of a thread on the home page like previously?
You may click the link under the "Last Message" option, which indicate the time when a member posted the last message on the thread.

Okay, for some reason, I am getting a "Load jQuery first" page displayed on my Work-PC. And because of this I am not able to see the enter message dialog box.

Yup, well done Niall. On a side note, did anyone feel like they lost a part of their life when the forum went down? I felt horrible. In fact, I was surprisingly more productive at work and it was a weird feeling. :D
yeah nearly got divorced - the wife said I was moaning about everything all day long

HELLO
The site is looking great, the only thing I miss is the option to visit the last page of a thread via the homepage, I see you can do it in the individual forums themselves but not the homepage!

edit; nevermind, I've just realised I can hit the last post time and that will open it...and the question was addressed at the top of this page.

It's shite.

You used to be able to see how many pages in a thread from the forum view, so you know which are new threads and which are the big ones. Now you can't. Image sizes look odd in certain threads. You can't preview the contents of a threads by simply hovering over the row in the thread list, you have to position your cursor over the subject title. Although the preview now looks nicer and more detailed, and also has the ability to display the member's avatar, since most people aren't allowed avatars, that feature is wasted anyways.

The layout and design looks okay, but seemed unnecessary.

Try with another browser. Did it work?
No. :(

I tried on Chrome and Firefox. I am getting the same pop-up. However, I was using it last night on my laptop and then it worked fine. I know there is some issue with my Work-PC/browser, but I am not able to figure out what it is.

Came to post this. So far the only really annoying thing for me, apart from the small username text. Everything looks like new threads now.

Love the new forum. Also loved the fact that I was banned from it till now.

Thank you to whichever mod (and Smashed and Cesc's) sorted it out btw.

This might have been asked and answered but anyway. It seems when making new threads that we can all create poll's? Is this an oversight or are we all to be trusted now

It was something to do with the permissions. It is being looked into but don't think there is a way to restrict poll making to certain usergroups on here.

I don't think it's too bright but then again I have the brightness turned down on my monitors anyway as I find high levels stress the eyes more, and on my other devices as it saves on battery. I like it and it looks as though the majority are in agreement, once the kinks are ironed out it'll be great.

Disaster strikes... this reply box doesn't show up on my work computer for some reason! Which is pretty shit... they use internet explorer at work (idiots) so I'm not sure if it's something to do with the settings...

I've asked IT if I can have Firefox installed on my PC and came up with some bullshit work reason... so hopefully that'll solve the issue.

Well it better do, I hate posting from my phone!

Thanks! Any ideas on noticing which threads you have commented in? Also I did look first, but couldn't see anything about multi quote
For multi quote, just keep on clicking Reply by all of the posts and they'll go in Quick Reply. Problem is if you change page then those are lost, so it isn't perfect but that is the best thing it can do for now.

Currently there isn't a way to notice which threads you have posted in. Usually it is denoted by the avatars in forum view but as the avatars are removed on here, you can't see that bit. I think Niall is looking into a way for people to see which threads they've posted in, but he's got a lot of other stuff to do too so it might take a while.

Oh certainly, I don't doubt that, I wasn't trying to rush him; we're all very pleased with how the forum has moved so quickly, and if anything I was surprised to see regular updates while the site was down which is good. Neither of them are huge points that will make a hell of a difference anyway, but thanks for letting me know .

Right I'm on google chrome now so got my added post functions. Now could just do with making the text in the posts slightly larger. Any ideas guys?
