Aguero reminds me of Romario. He's not such a good finisher as Romario in his best years but he's more explosive and pacy. Fantastc player.

I would honestly have Aguero over any forward in the world bar Messi & Ronaldo. He needs to have a "dream" about Madrid or Barca pretty soon.

Whilst I hate to see City doing well, the Spurs fans I know have all been so fecking smug over the past two months that this is making me giggle. That said, they'll probably be trying even harder next week now.

I know City also murdered us at Etihad but this is no excuse for Spurs, conceding 5 against anyone when you're supposed to be title challengers is poor.

You're so right but they are so fecking clueless,I can't see where their goals are gonna come from.I am quite surprised how fecking awful they are.
I imagine Soldado will decide he has to justify himself against us. Townsend will do a Bale and Paulinho will look like a midfielder we should've signed (basically the absolute opposite of the shit they've produced today)

Trying to predict this season is hard though...

This season, Aguero's been much more productive than both Rooney and v. Persie. He's got much more goals and assists.
true, so has Suarez. However I still feel as if those 4 are simply the best, if anything I think it's Moyes's tactics that have resulted in us generaly not scoring/creating as much.
I'm not trying to slate Moyes here, I'm merely trying to point out that the attacking football under Moyes at the moment is far off from what it could be, fair enough that Rooney wouldn't be given such a huge role under Fergie but I think it's safe to say United as a whole would've created/scored more and I doubt RvP's goal tally would be at 7.
I think there's honestly a lot of room for improvement, as good as Rooney & RvP are you could say they're underperforming in terms of goals/assists this year even though they have generaly played well for the most part.

Fecking hell:lol:

Feel sorry for AfricanSpur as he always comes across as a decent poster but would be nice to hear from Glastonspur after some of the statements he made about Spurs and United this summer and earlier in the season.

Funny how so many weren't even putting Aguero in their top 5 players in the PL in that thread the other day. To me he's clearly got the highest level of anyone in it and he's showing it this season.

Spurs fans were idiots a few weeks ago for moaning about not being exciting enough. For that they deserve this.

But I cannot say I am enjoying city in this form at all

Isn't that sort of pointing out the obvious? This year he's been better and more productive, the previous two years it was van Persie...I was talking in a general sense.

Glaston Spur is nowhere to be found when things like these happen. Probably sulking himself silly in some London Subway tunnel

To be fair to Aguero, he had a brilliant debut season, last season he mainly stuttered because of injuries and because City overall were poor.

not naming any particular order but to me it's pretty clear Rooney, RvP, Aguero, Suarez and Ozil are the 5 most talented players in the PL (before you slate me for Mata (hasn't played much this season, doesn't really have a clear role to be honest at the moment) or Ramsey (great form but I expect him to tone it down)). Only one you could honestly argue for right now could be Toure, but I'm sticking with what I got down.

City are scary when they play like this.
They'll keep getting results like this at home, they are just that good there. Away from home they've been terrible though.

Indeed mate.I seriously thought this game but have been....well a game!!! It may have been different had Spurs not had a collective brain fart early doors, but it's a funny old season and nothing makes much sense results wise! I hope Soldado plays and Lamela also. They would have to go some to hit a level that could hurt us based on today and this season as a whole. There are others, but those two are dreadful!

eh, pretty sure they'll draw/lose a game or 2 there this season. we wasted our chance but to be fair they got to play us at a perfect time. not taking anything away from them as they've been brilliant, but I seriously doubt they won't slip up, especialy in a season such as this one.

To play devils advocate, they did thrash us there too.
