West Bromwich Albion Football Club nicknamed West Brom, The Baggies, The Throstles, Albion or simply WBA; are a professional football club based in West Bromwich, West Midlands; and were founded in 1878 as West Bromwich Strollers, by workers of George Salter's Spring Works. They were renamed West Bromwich Albion in 1880, becoming the first team to adopt the Albion suffix. West Brom were one of the founding members of The Football League in 1988, and have one League title win, 5 FA Cup wins, and one League Cup win to their name. Even though West Brom have spent the majority of their history in the top-flight of English football, when the FA Premier League was founded in 1992 the club found themselves in the third tier, and have negotiated periodic relegation-promotion oscillations to the Premier League ever since. West Brom play their homes games at The Hawthorns, and share historic rivalries with Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

So apparently United can score now. Gonna go with a 2-0 win.

    I reckon we'll see:

    -------------- De Gea
    Darmian - Smalling - Blind - Rojo
    ---- Schneiderlin - Carrick
    Mata ------- Rooney ------ Lingard
    -------------- Martial

Schweinsteiger could do with a rest.

Edit: Darmian's suspended, so stick Young there.

Will be happy with 1-0. Coming up against Pulis when we struggle to create anything when we control the game doesn't bode well for us.

Going for the optimistic 4-0 here. Today hopefully providing a boost to the confidence to everyone. Could be a big win, let's just hope we don't go back to pointless possession.

    De Gea
    Valencia Smalling Blind Rojo
    Mata Carrick Herrera Young
    Rooney Martial
Guessing it'll be something like this (though Herrera is more hope). Valencia is probably still injured as well so might be Lingard starting again on the left with Young right back.

Not sure if Mata deserves to start, he gets hauled off all the time.

It's just what I think we'll play and not necessarily what I want. I'm sure LVG is counting on Mata for that bit of brilliance that can unlock a game, WBA won't be pushovers.

Going to be another tough game, where we could find it really difficult to break down a very organised West Brom side.

Think we're going to need to direct players on the wing - players who's willing to take the oppostion players on and open up some space. Therefore, I'd go with:

    De Gea
    Darmian - Smalling - Jones - Rojo
    Young - Carrick - Schweinsteiger - Lingard
    Rooney
    Martial

Team played well tonight and I'd be surprised if West Brom don't employ similar tactics to CSKA, so I'd stick with the same eleven personally.

    Give peas a chance.
Seriously though. Don't want another West Brom smash and grab. That was throughly depressing last year.

Wonder if the Baggies fans will turn out this year. There was about a dozen of them last season.

    Lingard Rooney Young
    Martial

Start Lingard, Martial and Rooney behind Martial. Mata/Young/Memphis for the other vacant position. I would usually say Mata but he's been pretty poor in the last few games.

    2-0.

Time to start going on a winning run to make up for the shitty month of October we had.

West Brom are a bit shit, so will obviously put everyone behind the ball and stay compact.

Hopefully we can grab an early goal and put this one to bed quickly, or else we'll be in for a snooze-fest.

    Another Saturday 3 O'clock streamer. :(

It's possible Jones plays due to Rondon but I'd go with this.

Any win will do. Hope we can go ahead into the international break with a win and sitting pretty at 4th.
    • Doubt Leicester will drop any points at home against Watford, but you never know.
    • London Derby means a win for Arsenal and we move further ahead of Spurs. A draw would suit us with we closing the gap on Arsenal & still be 3 points ahead of Spurs.
    • West Ham play Everton at home and this one is tough to call. A draw here is the most preferred likely result for us. I doubt Everton getting a win here.

A 1-0 victory seems to have convinced the caf we'll start rattling goals in.
another 1-0 would suit me fine, even if it pisses some off. Just get a run of wins going and the confidence, and the goals, will come.
