Huddlestone got us into the Champions League and doubled his money, so he wasn't that bad.

Quite excited at the idea of Mason, Bentaleb and Alli coming through under Dembele and Stambouli. Cheap, skillful and energetic.

Worth it for £5m when you can sell guys like Naughton, Falque and Fryers even when they don't make it for a combined £12m.
I feel Huddlestone had far more potential and should never play now for a relegation club. If Hull are going down then clubs like Everton, Southampton or West Ham should look for him

It wasn't easy for young players at the club with many managers (and different ideas) in the last years
Hopefully Pochettino stays for many years and Kane, Dier & Mason are the face of the club

He's already too good for League One so I'm not sure loaning him back there would be a good move.Still very young though.

He's started the season well, probably been Spurs most consistent performer, he's a good sized athlete with good balance and skill as well as some pace, certainly one to keep an eye on.

Was impressed today too, thought he was the best midfielder on the pitch. Has really everything in his locker, his runs from deep impressed me the most.

He got the deserved MotM award tonight and scored his 2nd league goal this season. He and Dier are doing well as a CM pairing ... all the more so considering one is just 19 and the other only 21.

Both give the team a great balance. The three attacking player behind Kane (Erikson, Dembele, Chadli, Lamela, Njie) are always a bit patchy. They go missing or are wasteful with the ball. Dier and Alli really hold the team together and allow them to perform. Pretty impressive at that age.

Nice to see a young english talent from the lower leagues given a chance tbh. I kinda like how him, Vardy, Smalling are doing in the top flight.

Along with Dier, Alli has been fantastic for Spurs. He's got everything to his game. It's great to see two young English players at the heart of a EPL side that are doing well.

Clever player. Not convinced he'll make that final step up but he could easily be a mainstay of Spurs' midfield for years to come.

Another very good display against Arsenal. Both Arsenal's midfield and that of City's were dominated by the Alli-Dier CM combo. I wouldn't be surprised to see both of them start in one or other of the two upcoming England friendlies.

he's 19 ffs, you don't see many more complete players at this age playing in central midfield for top6 side in the premier league.. he's got everything, he will be one of the best b2b midfielders in a few years time..

He seems to have the knack of arriving into the box at the right time, can see him scoring a lot of goals once he is a little more rounded.

Bright future definitely, but still not sure if he has the ability the make the next step.

Very promising first season though. Would have happily had him learning his trade at United.

I hope we give it a go. Our midfield options are not great and it would give them a chance against either Spain or France. Both teams with quality midfielders.

His goal looked amazing at first, but it was deflected so I can't give him a lot of credit for it going in really

oh my god, when you see it again you'll find out that was the slightest of deflections, would have ended in the corner anyway

No, it would not have been on target without the deflection.

I do like Alli though. Could be top class.

It would still have been on target but might have been saved. The deflection only took it higher and out of reach of Lloris.

I wanted us to sign him when he's 17 or so and we were first linked with him.Didn't expect him to come this good this soon though.Signs of things to come for the England youth gen 96' onward.

Only saw his first half, which was pretty par. Is he better than Will Hughes?

Pogba is a level above in terms of potential.
I doubt that. Pogba is 3 years older than Alii, who, in quick succession, has shown that he can stand out against the midfields of City, Arsenal and now France.

Dier was also fairly good and that doesnt mean he has the potential of Paul Pogba

How long until he's linked to United? He's had his 5 good games already, surely it's a matter of time?
