You actually said it was accepted in all sports, then to back up that statement gave an example that demonstrated the opposite of that. That certainly does not demonstrate it to be true...

Ì'm honestly still not sure what you are really arguing about, other than whatever was the last post you made that was shown to be nonsense. My original post was about how accepting conflicts of interest is not a good thing, and that we should criticise this situation. You've spent a couple of hours arguing, unsuccessfully, with every counter argument I've given you, but to what end? You think my original point is wrong, you think a conflict of interest is a good thing?
There is no conflict of interest, Mourinho is a client of Mendes not an employee, he is free to buy the players that he wants and Mendes can do nothing about it. That's why most people don't care about who is representing the managers.

Edit: The problem is when a manager is friend with an agent.

That Ducker piece claims that there are still minor details to sort out, so the headline of contract agreed is a bit wrong

And sky saying "by friday" in their headline is wrong when the actual piece claims they expect in ON Friday

Just correcting a couple of misleading headlines

i don't believe that for a second.
Believe what you like. While you're at it, check his record on Mourinho. Sadly (as he's also a wind up merchant), he'll be among the most reliable (and frequent) commentators on all things United during Jose's tenure.

How has this guy avoided the blacklist for so long? I would rather read the Daily Star!
It is really crazy. I had this discussion last summer, but Raoul was persistent that he should remain because he's a real journo.

Bear in mind that if we blacklisted him, we would miss out on the wealth of comic photoshopping and bald jokes directed at him under his tweets. Last year someone called him an "Albino Cadburys Creme Egg" and I almost had a hernia laughing.
