Before Mourinho, my world was in greyscale. Now that he's our manager, my world has come to life.

Feck yeah!! Romance and mystique . He gets us,he just gets us.
Tbf most top managers have said European nights at OT is something special. The consensus is that we have something different to other clubs, not necessarily better, but different.

Rarely agree with Stan Collymore but on this is 100 per cent correct: Jose's been dreaming of United for years. Going back to Chelsea in 2013 happened solely because United (crazily) went for Moyes over him.

Amazing, we really went for Moyes over Mourinho. What the f-k were we thinking?!

For the most, being a United fan, at least from the start of the nineties, meant you didn't have to think much about the next manager because the one we had wasn't going anywhere (except in 2002, and to those who think we have a clueless board, but back then they were great, I'd remind people we were going to get Sven).

Still, as the subject did come up here and there, there were two people I thought would be brilliant for us. The first is Cruyff, I really wondered if, in case Fergie retired quite early, United could be the club to get him coaching again, which he never did again since Barcelona. Well, that ship has sunk...

We got signed the other manager I wanted. :D

Lots of chatter on twitter that Giggs is distraught re: Jose (odd!) and he wants out!

Having tried to so hard to pretend he's cool about signing for United, in the end he gave in and you can see the joy in his eyes.
Agree completely. You can see that hunger and joy. He knows he's got a point to prove.

Didn't he supposedly get upset and cry when he found out we'd hired Moyes?

Wonderful news. Great way to start the morning. Hopefully this news follows with us securing all his first choice targets and hit the ground running next season.

I am sure he wants to prove a point that he has not lost his craft and still one of the best managers around. Underdog role suits him the best and the fact that many feel he has lost it, would add an extra incentive for him to prove them wrong. That would be perfect for us.

Welcome Jose. I wish it was 3 years earlier, but better now than never.

Twigginater hasn't been online since 8am, he's probably still hoping something will prevent this from happening. Bless.

Pleased. He isn't perfect but he's definitely our best option right now.

Fantastic.

Funny seeing Ed say we have got the best in the business, like hiring Moyes over him never happened.

Finally. 3 years of this nonsense are enough. Exactly what we Need now.

Next PL season will be exciting. I hope we can get some of the Players that have been linked with a move to us. I guess Jose`s Arrival will immensely boost our chances on the market.

I'm sure he's loved being at all the clubs he's been at but I don't think he would have wanted to go back to Chelsea. There's very few clubs you can build a legacy with and United is easily number one in that regard for a manager. You could maybe also do it at Munch too but I don't think the league is as interesting. It's a great league but the balance of power is too in their favor but I think it's more special when there's a history of it.

Happy that we appointed Jose. A change was necessary as LvG wasn't taking us anywhere. With Pep practically next door, Jose would be super motivated.

I am sure he must have watched every minute of the games we have played since December trying to assess what's necessary. A hungry and pumped up Jose is what we need. The best fit at this moment of time given the options available. I am looking forward to next season.

Delighted.

I'm genuinely grinning from ear to ear. Fresh start, everyone hating us once more - such a boost without kicking a ball. He brings that X-factor to a team on and off the pitch. Things won't run smoothly from time to time, but it won't drag on and on like seasons gone by. Not a Yes-Man at the helm no more. It's a man who has his own goals, instead of managers hitting targets Jose tends to want to smash them and aim higher. Terrific.

An arrogant Cnut, but he is our arrogant Cnut.

The only feelings I feel other than happiness is anger and frustration towards the board and Woodward that this appointment wasn't made 3 years ago. Ecstatic with us hiring mourinho. Better late than never.

He's wanted it long before he went Chelsea the second time.
