So when the whole Pogba leaving United debate was in full swing how do you reckon it would have gone down if someone suggested that we'd buy him back for 100m quid in a few years time? (and everyone would be delighted)

Has to be the craziest thing to happen at this club in my lifetime. Crazy interesting. Not crazy bad.
Considering that the Pogba thread was full of bitterness and despair at the time, the educated guess would be as well as a Phil Jones corner kick. I agree that it is a very good move, both on and off the pitch.

I can't get myself motivated about this transfer at all, maybe it's the price or the fact we once had him and let him leave for what seems like peanuts.

If by the end of this season or next, he's scored numerous of goals and we're champions, then maybe I'll let the fee slip my mind.

Roll on Sunday.

During the time especially the summer he left i remember most fans were not happy seeing Cleverly and Ando being our attacking CM's for nest season, alot of debate was held on Paogba and Ravel at the time fans that questioned Fergie intelligence got told off and Gill got quiet a bit of criticism as well for not seeing through Fergie's feud with Raiola and offering him a new contract thinking about the betterment of the club.
Gill wasn't a dumb chairman either, he knew where football was heading transfer prices wise at the time.

Also one could say Fergie didn't see Pogba as a CM at the time and the few first team appearances he had he was used as a number 10 in a midfield 3. Basically the role Rooney played under Fergie

Rest of the world especially our Asia fans are going to be asleep at that time, doubt the club are going to announce it today.

Tuesday afternoon after 2pm when the NYSE opens is my guess
Jose was announced around 10 am id I remember correctly

I think you underestimate these things.
Naa, if if was a marketing blunder then yes. Someone working in the lower rungs at United, no! He most probably recognised the ladies from when he was there 5 years ago so accepted to take the picture. Doubt they would have been told not to take pictures, even if it might have been in their contract in minuscule writing buried under millions of words they would never understand.

Consider these points to help your mind ease about the massive amount of money that is not your money being spent on the type of player we've been crying out for.

If he never left, Moyes or LVG would not have been able to keep him.
He's a far better player than he was when he left.
We have a massive hole in our MF and he fits it.

Oh...you'd rather the Glazers sit on it, or the Reds spend the money on one or two players that aren't nearly Paul's caliber?

30 million pounds annually is nothing for United.

They will make the money back.
