He'll be a valuable part of Mourinho's squad. Even when Pogba comes in, he'll be still there and abouts. And rightfully so. He's the perfect Mourinho player pretty much.
These are some pretty insane stats.Tweet

ThisI am one of his biggest critics, but he was very good. Very impressed.

okay gotchaIt was a deliberate understatement.
I think its the one where he brings it down on his chest then flicks it over his head behind another player. Was it this one?
Thanks. Just found it.I think its the one where he brings it down on his chest then flicks it over his head behind another player.
He was one of very few players who played well under Van Gaal too. Not in every game he featured but in a bigger proportion of games than most. You know what, aside from his awful mistake for the Vardy goal last week he's started the season really well. Was good despite that last week and was excellent today.
Maybe Jose knows how to get the best out of him?
Did he also elbow his marker on the turn (left arm) or I am seeing thing? If so, so original.Thanks. Just found it.
Top post, I fully agree. His average rating just illustrates the fact that people blindly hate him and no matter what he does that won't change.Besides the sloppy back pass for the Vardy goal, he's been very good in the two games.
It's very predictable but quite sad and ridiculous to see his rating over the two games at a shocking 5/10. Especially if you compare with Luke Shaw's 6.8/10 rating. IMO Fellaini's easily been better over the course of these two games. And Luke Shaw's bad touch today could just as well have cost us a goal if it'd fell to a sharper player.
People should really give up the agendas for and against certain players. And yes, I think Shaw is easily the better player in general, but you gotta give credit where credit is due, and surely these ratings don't reflect the players' performances but rather the preference of the player in general.
Did he also elbow his marker on the turn (left arm) or I am seeing thing? If so, so original.
Same here.I am one of his biggest critics, but he was very good. Very impressed.
That is a definate. As I said before... 4 managers have favoured him. So he must be doing something right.
Maybe some fans just don't know as much about football as they think they do.
I have pretty much same opinion. I think he is will be our version of Mikel (the sub role) and contribute in certain fixture/ circumstances that our starter is not as well suited.I have to admit he's proving me wrong with performances like yesterday. The only thing that still bothers me abit is that he never moves the ball first time and still has a tendency to slow our game down abit. Would like him to start certain games and I think that is how Mourinho will use him.
So basically, the one who gets the start is the one who has less crap seasons? And you are comparing a player that has played for Southampton and his form for Southampton with a player that is playing for Manchester United. No players should start on past glory (feck off Rooney) and that is the case for Schneiderlin, Fellaini is indeed currently a much better player than Schneiderlin and is deserving to start over him.At United not a lot, but at least he has only had one crap season rather than three.
But at least Schneiderlin is actually a box to box midfielder (unlike Felliani who if in the team should be playing more advanced) and has proven previously that he can be one of the best in the league at this role.
