Only on a United forum would so many people claim Aguero to be some massive cnut who is supposedly getting away with elbowing someone or stamping on them every week.
Fake outrage and ludicrous exaggeration doesn't win a debate by default; see our Rooney thread for further details.

Could you quote all the people who've been saying Aguero gets away with elbowing and stamping people every week? You seem well versed with this thread so this shouldn't be too hard.
Judging by the opinion some people have of him, I get the impression they must think that's what he is doing. Is every player whose ever done something worthy of a red card in football automatically a cnut?

Would they still complain after Aguero gets all the attentions and media focus, and ultimately handed the ban?

That elbow deserves a ban. If it was not Aguero but Fellaini, I would still be of the same opinion. Some of my fav players, Keane, King Eric, also deserved the bans that they served.

Its as simple as this if it was someone like fellaini that had done it he would be ban so we will see.

Come on, it was an elbow, he will get banned, just a question of when that ban starts.
No question on that. If they charge him, it's immediately. Only loophole could have been if we were playing them this midweek, they could have appealed and that appeal wouldn't have been heard until after the game.

Fake outrage? I'm not outraged or ever claimed I was, I commented because I found it funny that this thread seems more apt for someone like Diego Costa than Aguero. It's not ludicrous exaggeration either:

"he can be pretty nasty and sly quite a lot of the time"
"Aguero's a little turd, he's got plenty of previous."
"The little cnut gets away with too much"
"Aguero is a little shithouse."
"Beady-eyed little thunderkunt."
"He is one of the dirtiest players in the league."
"He's a snide cnut."

I'm half hoping they don't ban him just to see what Jose comes up with. ;)

So nobody saying anything about every week then. As expected.

I literally don't understand the complete lack of rationality some have, bordering idiocy, in honesty when it comes to sport/rivalry/support.

If a player intentionally elbowed another, whether he was a united player or not, why on earth would a sane, logical person try and defend that action? It's been evidenced on here week, after week, if Fellaini elbowed someone, majority called him out on it. United player or not.

Violent conduct should never be condoned or excused. And the less said about those over at Bluemoon, with the tin foil hat conspiracies, the better.

I made the comment about him being a shithouse and it's true not only because of the ludicrous stamp on Luiz, the elbow yesterday but mainly because he plays for your shithouse club.

United fans aren't supposed to like him.

Aguero has pulled out of the Argentina squad through injury (Apparently another muscle injury)......so he might not be available for the derby anyway.
Has all the hallmarks of faking/exaggerating an injury to get out of travelling to South America before a big game his club. he'll definitely play the derby, if not suspended.

Argentina fans hate him. He's probably just pussying out of a international game.

How much do you think you would remember the taste of a win without Aguero if and when we are 2pts ahead going into the final league game of this season?
Hey, I know what you mean but at this very moment, the derby win would taste better with Aguero in it and not being able to do anything.

I fully understand United fans aren't supposed to like him, but using two incidents throughout his whole time at City (and worth noting Luiz had literally just tried to elbow him prior to the stamp) to label him as some cnut who seemingly does this regularly is laughable.

I'd prefer my clubs players to do that. I've got no time for international football and it's so annoying when one of your sides key players picks up an injury whilst playing or training with their country.

This pretty much sums up the modern fan these days. No interest in international football. Id say if England were good you wouldnt mind so much.

This. My native and adopted countries both have two shite national teams. Club over country. Been that way since I was a kid.

I don't want him to get banned although I know he should. I would prefer to see Bailley dominate him and there to be NO excuses when they get hammered by us.

Will get off with it..you can already tell with the "but its a shame if he misses the derby" narrative from the pundits and journos.
He has already gotten off with stamping, petulant kicking and a two footed tackle. He needs the elbow to complete the set. Maybe he will go for a bite next time.

... or he scores the winner and we all have something to complain about.
Feck him. He elbowed someone. He should be banned. The FA and refs are going on about clamping down on stuff, so if they let him off it's just bollocks.

All this "Oh I hope he plays because they'll have no excuse when we beat them" is the biggest load of bollocks.

He's one of the best strikers in the world. Aguero out = good, and no phony bravado will convince me otherwise.

It's just the same thing over and over without any progress ever being made. If we managed a semi final now and then it wouldn't be so bad but it's been the same for such a long time that I don't care any more. We're three games into the season and there's an international break, which will no doubt lead to players getting knocks or having to travel ridiculous distances over a couple of weeks. I'd rather see Liverpool players pull out with minor knocks than go and play for their country. They'd get two weeks of training and be fresh for the next round of fixtures.

Didn't Ferguson sometimes pull his players out with 'injuries' now and then, to stop them going on international duty? I'm sure plenty of managers have done that because they know the consequences of letting another manager have their players for a short period. I can't think of anything worse than letting Sam Allardyce have Daniel Sturridge for two weeks. It wouldn't surprise me if Aguero is fine but Guardiola wants him fresh for the derby.

Not a big loss for Argentina anyway, he's rubbish for them.

You can leave this forum if you have a problem with United fans disliking a City player(even if you are exaggerating this time).

Exaxtly. We've got a real bunch of idealists here. And it's not as if Aguero would be unlucky either. He's screwed himself over.

Im not having a pop at you, im just saying the modern fan doesnt want international breaks. Im not a fan of them this early in the season. I dont think there should be any end of september and then only one game.
