Nah he's not. Not even close. Would still rate Hazard's dribbling higher although that might change in time.
Out of interest, seeing as you say not even close, who else do you rate higher and whereabout would you place him?

Is he the next best dribbler after Messi? His dribbling is so smooth and direct, none of that stepover fannying around
Not even close. There's still, Iniesta, Hazard, Suarez, Neymar... list goes on.

He just takes the team up a couple notches when he is on the ball. Hopefully can stay injury free and at some point Martial / Rashford find their form and scoring boots.

Lingard definitely did not have a bad game, he was pretty good, but it was clear that once Mikhi came in, we instantly become much better

His touch is perfect, he dribbled past the opponent easily, his vision is superb (almost had an assist), everything that he tried to do is so positive, it's so refreshing to see a player like him once again in the team
Lingard tends to drift in and out of matches. Miki is at the heart of eveything when hes on

Nothing against miki but to say he is anywhere near the dribbling ability of messi is to hugely discredit messi's dribbling.
He didn't say it was near Messi. The question was Messi aside is he the best dribbler in the world?

Personally I don't care where he ranks in that regard. He improves the team massively so let's play him regularly from now until end of season.

The reason I love him is because when he receives the ball his 1st thought is to drive the ball forwards and start an attack. Something we've desperately missed the last few years.

The new kagawa and all that crap about him being shit was posted by Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime in here a month ago. Name and shame time or do we all enjoy the x mas vibe and let it go?

Bet these guys are lurking around heart in throat hoping to pretend they fit in now.
Exactly.
I took offense at all the rubbish about his bad attitude, laziness, weak mentality and that he wasnt good enough for the PL and United. Having watched every game of his for the last 4 years I knew better and disagreed with his exclusion for so long.

I felt like a lone voice at times and was called all sorts of things by people that almost certainly hadnt seen him play other than in highlights. So from my perspective there were plenty of critics but Im glad he's making them eat their words and Im thrilled at how hes been embraced by the fans and press in recent weeks.

He came on and made an immediate impact. Every game he is in the running for MOTM and his goal was a nice reward for his effort.

Its looking like United are the team to beat at the moment.
Top 4 looks a certainty. Good chance of 2nd place and with some luck Chelsea trips over and it becomes very interesting. Europa and EFL both looking likely.
Good times ahead.

For me, Ben Arfa might be the second best dribbler after Messi. He is immense when he gets going. Hazard and Suarez obvious choices too.

Henrikh's goal today was a thing of beauty. I have never seen a Scorpion Kick goal before. I can't even do it on FIFA!

It reminded me to this Van der Vaart goals 10 years ago.

Never mind the strange debate above, great to see him back, and what a confidence booster.

In from the start v Boro now, and hope him and Martial can finally give us a route of attack from the wings!

Suarez' 'dribbling' is extremely messy, and nowhere ear the best around. He just runs straight at his opponents as opposed to round them.

Be Arfa is a great shout though, he's joyful in full flow. I think Martial is very underrated too, excellent close control at speed.

Suarez? Wtf? He is nowhere near best dribblers in the world right now like Messi, Hazard or Iniesta

His slow dribbling in confined spaces isnt exceptional, its probably just ok.
But dribbling whilst sprinting on a counter attack is where hes truly amongst the best in the game.
Thats his bread and butter.

Wanted to score at OT. Scored two worldies. Brilliant. I initially thought (when he wasn't featuring) that he wasn't a signing that mou really wanted. But he has been exceptional and you could even say he has hit the ground running

I too thought it was a diving header on first watch and was amazed at how quick he pulled it off, after the replay I had to take a moment . I just love how he eases past players, so smooth. I also believe his infectious play is rubbing off on Lingard who did a lot of Micky-light moves today.

Absolutely incredible goal! He's in excellent form at the moment, long may it continue!

But just imagine if the ref had raised his flag...

He may not be the best player in the league (he's got Zlatan, Pogba, Aguero, de Bruyne, Hazrd, Costa etc. to contemd with) but I'm gonna go ahead and say he's the most excitig player in the league, just a creative genius.

He seems to play at a 100 mph and is just a joy to watch as he just burns past players at speed.

Don't know what Jose's done with him, but it's looking all good so far with our Micki. Great goal - whether offside or not:D

He MUST play if he's available.

He's by far our best wide attacker. He's a great compliment to Ibra as well.

I'm still worried about what I saw of him at times at Dortmund, but the strength of character he's shown to come into the team after his difficult start and play so well is a huge positive.

Long may it last.

The thing that makes him special is that he has the explosiveness of a winger coupled with the brain and vision of a no.10. If you drop deep to cancel out his pace he can pick you off with his passing and is the perfect player to have when protecting a lead because his pace makes us dangerous on the break.

He's our best player
I remember another poster saying the same back a couple weeks ago, and he got ridiculed as being another "Mad Winger" but I agree. Zlatan might be scoring the goals, but Mkhitaryan creates so many chances and will take us to another level. He'll have a large say as to whether or not we finish Top 4.

I saw Van Der Vaart score an almost identical one for Ajax years ago. Brilliant finish, and pure instinct.

What I like is how he always tries to affect the scoreline. Some creative players don't have the personality or confidence to score many goals, but Mkhi is always trying to score, shoots aggressively and purposely, many players are almost apologetic. Arsenal have had many like that, shooting is when he absolutely have to.

Just annoys me knowing how good we'd have been if he was playing from the start of the season.
