Good god. What a league this is. I bow infront of the top 5. Non of them seem to be losing any game at all. Despite all our money, history and superior names we just have to accept that the season 16/17 has shown we haven't been working as hard as our colleagues. The positive thing is we can find inspiration and come back stronger. The toughest thing is being the best - you can become comfortable and stale. That's what we did and there's no room to relax in this game.

The quality in the league is utter dog shit and has been for years.

It has been masked because the big clubs have been shit for a while too (look at their record in Europe) but they're finally getting it together and teams are no longer able to get away with it anymore.

Anywhere lower than about 7th in the league and all teams are concerned with are trying to be strong defensively and to try use the pace of people that are little more than athletes to nick a goal.

Considering how much they all spend on players its a bit embarrassing.
Defeats of Top 6 by teams that are Not Top Six are few & far between for the number of matches

Are people still thinking that (outside of Chelsea), with half a season to go Manchester United can't catch Liverpool, Arsenal, City AND Spurs? Seriously?

19 premier league games left folks. That's a lot of ball.

We keep winning, and the only thing we achieve is a worse goal difference than the teams above us
Our efficiency in front of goal has generally been poor this season. Even on this run we are wasting clear cut opportunities. This is something we need to improve.

3 games I've played overs on the cards in the past 2 days and the ref has either been a moron or these guys are all part of the same team. Jesus. No will to win for half these cnuts. Happy to just wander about for 90mins.

How do you figure this? We play them at old Trafford in a few weeks, they still have to play other teams in the top 6.
Well they've pretty consistently been playing very well this season. I think they'll definitely finish top 2.

Regardless of what happens in next 3 days, we won't be moving up from 6th place. Spurs and City are both ahead of us by 3 points and a much superior GD. Liverpool game is a must win for us given the context of race for Top 4.

Good win, third spot and second clean sheet in a row. Couldn't have asked for more. Roll on Bournemouth.
