15- 20 years from now, when he is at his Grandchild's high school graduation party, he'll still mumble " If only we weren't denied 2 points at OT... ".
"We might've finished two points closer to 5th than we did..."

Love it that he is so affected by the United goal. Let him get stuck in the past while everyone look to the future. Never seen a manager so obsessed with 1 goal.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has offered his support to under-pressure Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp.

"I've been on similar testing runs myself," Rodgers told Sky's Geoff Shreeves, "If Jurgen wants any help, he's got my number."

"So has LVG."

"Watch it, Geoff..."

It's not even the goal - it's part of the build up. At least 5/6 things happen in between that moment and the actual goal. As others have pointed out they also should've been flagged offside in the build up to their goal.

Lemmy has forsaken us....
I hope we play them second game of the season next time around, and beat them at anfield in the 9th minute of extra time, scored by an offside Zlatan, using his hand after being given 2 yellow cards and not sent off.

His head would explode and he'd be fecked for the rest of the season.
Not sure anyone would notice the difference between that and his current state, to be honest.

Either way as a manager or even a player you have to move on to the next game. There are so many penalty decisions not given to us but would be so irritating if mourinho brought it up every press conference.

But either way I am loving how he is obsessed. If things start to go more against Liverpool I can see him losing it completely.

I'm just going on The Caf
I had a look at rawk a while ago and they were still banging on about that penalty we got against spurs in 2009 when we came back to win 5-2 so theyve got a bit of mileage in this decision yet.

Wonder if it'll go on as long as Garcia's goal against Chelsea in the CL semi in 2005. Their manager at the time dined out on that for decade or so.

Luis Garcia dressed up as a ghost last year in celebration of that goal. I think you're mistaking who's dining out on it.

Jose just went on winning every trophy going. Including 3 Premier Leagues and denying you one when he parked the bus with a 2nd string team and Gerrard slipped.

If there is a God, they would miss out on top 4 by one point.

"Do you Jürgen Norbert Klopp take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in heath..?”

”I do, but I could’ve had a better one if United hadn’t scored that offside goal."

Amazing

Some great quotes even without the offside (not a story) goal

Swansea – silly but not bad, we played pretty good until we stopped playing

I'd argue the 6 league titles, 5 cups and Champions League won since that night is what their manager at the time has dined out on....

It's really funny how Klopp and Liverpool are so irrelevant right now. This is really the only way any paper will mention them.

It's sad because I used to love this guy. Now I genuinely think he's just a twat.
Was about to say this, so many on here, myself included, used to really like this guy.
Wonder if we would've been embarrassed, or loved it, if he had become our manager.

Either that or they finish 4th, 2 points behind 3rd with a superior goal difference and we win the EL to take their place.
There's 5 spots for CL football should someone from outside the top 4 win the EL.

The only way they could finish 4th and not get CL football next season would be for us to finish outside the top 4 but win the EL and Leicester win the CL.

In that scenario, Utd and Leicester would get the automatic qualification along with the top 3.

This German wanker is not letting this go. Below is a picture of the offside play that led to their corner.

These things happen.

The picture doesn't tell the story at all. Rojo actually plays the ball, not the Liverpool player... so there is no offside. Watch the video.

It amazes me how such a childish person can be a manager in top flight football. He wasn't like this in Dortmund wasn't he?

The people at Liverpool are as destructive to humans as the Kardashians are to men in their family.

He probably was, we just didn't see him as much over here.

Although Liverpool do strange things to managers yeah. I think it's their cult of personality worship thing.

He also mentioned that Cantona's goal should not have counted as he should have been suspended for the entire season.

Watching the video it seems to me that it's the Liverpool player who plays the ball.

It's beside the point though. I'm not crying over this incident.

It's the Pogba brainfart or Jones's defending that I have a problem with, if anything.

What I find remarkable is that Klopp is still moaning about an offside in the build-up to our goal, especially since there was also an offside leading up to their goal.
