They don't have to be of the same quality, because you don't compete with that team, but with teams from the present. You don't have Xavi and Alves anymore, but neither do the other teams.
That's the end of an elite Barca side. A side that were unplayable for several seasons and with players on a different level than the opposition.

Are you from Moldova btw?

Yea, well, it depends on what you mean by elite. If only that level is worthy of being considered elite, then there are maybe 2-3 teams that have been elite in the history of club football.

I'm from Bucharest.

343 for Barca as it seems. After the fiasco in Paris Lucho tryed 4231 first in a few games and now 343. He's desperate to find a way to turn the things around.

Too bad Reus and Götze are injured and Guerreiro isn't fit enough to start.

Man, people seriously underrate PSG. On this form they're easily one of the best 5 teams in the world. Barca need 2 miracles. 1 - don't concede a single goal from a team which arguably has the most in form playmaker and the most in form striker atm, and 2 - score 4 goals or more to a team which has some pretty solid defenders.

I can see one miracle happen, but not 2 at the same time. And PSG is just enough of a top team to not let a 4-0 slip away. No matter against who it is.

Cavani will score anyway to make the game redundant.

Benefica need an away goal. Unless Dortmund's finishing is as awful today as in the first leg, they will score at least once.

Almeida as a third midfielder, interesting. Definitely a very conservative 11 by Rui Vitória

Even in Munich last year he kept the 2-midfielder tactic with Jonas and Mitroglou upfront... But with Fejsa missing today I can see why he'd do this

Very attacking line up from Barca, as was obviously required. Could be a very interesting match. PSG look solid with Verratti, Matuidi and Rabiot in the center, looking to deny Iniesta and Messi space to operate. Lucas' pace on the counter attack might be important. We'll see.

Smart decision to start Lucas who is very direct and harder working than di María.

All it takes is 1 away goal to kill the tie.

Will definitely be keeping my eyes glued to the Barca and PSG match, hope this turns out to be a great game. Hope Barca can win 4-0, 5-0 but realistically, I think they will win 3-0, 3-1, 4-1 or even 5-1 and miss out by 1-2 goals or just narrowly on the away goals. A 0-4 deficit is just almost impossible to come back from. If Barca had lost 1-4 or 0-3, I still think they could come back but 0-4 seems a mountain too high to climb.

Barca will lose again 0-3/1-3/0-4. You read it here first.

Aren't you unbeaten at home for ages? And going by your recent form, shouldn't you be a little more optimistic? I know its extremely unlikely for Barca to come back but I highly doubt they will get embarrassed at home. They will most likely win 3-0, 3-1.

Had a dream last night that Neymar moved to Man Utd. Well this probably means that he will score a hat trick tonight and subsequently sign another contract.

If Barcelona score an early goal or 2, things will get very interesting. I hope that happens.

If there is any other team chasing 4-0 I wouldn't even bother to watch but this should be fun for at least first 20-30 minutes as they will try to push them in their penalty box. But... With so much pace in this Paris team and on the counter can't see them not scoring after that first wave.

Does anyone else have a severe dislike for Owen? He's been such a gobshite about United since he became a Liverpool ambassador. I mean would you ever come back to Liverpool after winning the league with their bitter, bitter rivals? Then again he posed with a dead ferret.
