Stop with the made up stats.

- Morata started 12 league games for RM this season and scored 10 of his 15 goals in those starts. He only played more than 80' in half of them too.
- Of the 5 sub-appearance goals he scored, 3 were literally the winning goals as the game was tied at the time.
- Only 2/15 goals scored were in sub appearances of a "finished" game

But I guess Mainoldo from the caf has already made up his mind on the player so never mind the reality.
Nice stuff. Showing up some brats. Entitlement is running rife on this section.

I think he would thrive playing in PL. His stats show that his goalscoring stats has been improving. From the highlights it showed that he is more developed as a 9 than both Rashford and Martial at the moment. Probably tactically more mature too as he played for both great teams like Juve and Real and played at the highest level with and against high level players.

Huh? Yes he hasn't got many minutes because he doesn't start many games, well done Sherlock! We hadn't noticed that one. Now what's your point?
He doesn't start many games because he's bang average. That's my point!

He's actually very quick and his technique, movement and finishing remind me of young Torres.

If we can make this happen, he would prove to be a great signing for us.

Benzema top class striker right now? Didn't realise? Morata outscored him this season.
So he outscored one of the best strikers in europe over the last 7/8 years, wholst remaining bang average? Impressive that

Let's trust Jose, if he feels that Morata is our no. 9 then he should be. Jose got us Bailly, Zlatan and Pogba which are quality. Morata will bring quality as well. It doesn't matter if he sit on Real bench. Real bought him back from Juve for a reason. At 24, he has room to improve. Who knows if Real comes back in 4 time for him.

This is the exact kind of signing we should make. He's about to enter his prime, his goalscoring record is excellent, his hold up play is a good fit for a Mourinho lone striker role and he's gettable because he's not first choice.

24 year old Morata, 23 year old Fabinho, a starting quality LB of any age to challenge Shaw and a CB to pair with Bailly and we'll have had a fine summer, even if we still lack depth in midfield and are relying on one of Rashford, Martial or Mkhitaryan to be the man out wide (Mata or whoever of those 3 has the 2nd best season should be fine as the #2 winger).

No matter how good he is, since he is not starting at Madrid, he is a Madrid reject and we should not get him. Buying him would also give Madrid more money. We are better off with a player of lesser quality who is not from Madrid.

He's young, his hold up play good, technically sound, and got pace to burn, I would take him above Lakaku/Belotti.

I want him, more of a complete forward and our all round play will improve.

His goal return for Madrid this year has been really good. 20 in 43.

WTF? So we should cut our nose off to spite our face. Never heard such bollocks. Are you a WUM? We should be after the best players who we can get regardless of who they play for.

He looks a better fit for mou system given his skillset. Only worry is madrid wanted a buy back clause inserted or he being in love to play for madrid once they are done with benzema. Hope we wont end up with another de gea situation in future if united do sign him eventually. All for it and anyday better than lukaku

He isn't one of the best players though. His record in front of goal apart from this season when he's been backup is pretty awful. He could merely be on a good run aided by being in a fantastic team. Prior to this year he was basically a Spanish welbeck.

Having said all of that Morata is a more exciting transfer to me than Lukaku at least. If his improvement in front of goal is genuine and he reproduces this next season under the pressure of being the star striker, then that'd a better striker than Lukaku would be given his all round game is much better. And he wouldn't cost 70 million either.

He will always want to play for Madrid. Doesn't mean he can't work for us. it's not like he will be dreaming about it anyway.
