Definitely seems interested going by that video.

Yes he loves Roma but they've just lost Totti and Salah, Juve are dominating and only getting stronger. He probably feels now is the right time to leave.
Roma must be a really nice club a lot of players go there and turn down clubs like United and Real.....Milan is strengthening too so it's not hard to say in two years they could be stronger than Roma too

I reckon he could give a good solid 4 years at the highest level which is more than enough really.

It makes far too much sense.

This guy and Fabinho and with Pogba and Herrera (and Fellaini as a squad player) our central midfield could be sorted for the next 2-3 seasons.

He'd be a force in midfield for any PL club but he'd also immediately be targeted by the English press. Even know when he's in Belgium, the media are talking about his personal life quasi non-stop, and I don't know how he would deal with that in England. He smokes, he likes to party a lot, he does stupid things off the field from time to time. It doesn't influence his performances on field in the slightest but I'm not sure he'd cope with constantly being in the spotligt, whereas they don't really care about that aspect in Italy (said it himself on Monday).

They have a similar mentality as Liverpool, they really make the players one with the city. He felt betrayed by Pjanic joining Juve so there's a good chance he won't leave to any other Italian side.

I think Jose will love him, fits his style of player being at the peak of his powers with good experience. Think this could be an interesting one.

Fabinho + Nainggolan would hugely reinforce our midfield this year.

Wouldn't want him going to Chelsea or Arsenal. He'd be a good signing for anybody with his energy in midfield. Shame it didn't come off when LVG was here although we were linked with everyone back then.

Like we are now.

Get the two of them and then my worry about our attacking signings would be a lot less given how aggressive and dominant we would be from midfield.

Haven't watched enough Italian football to make a very informed judgement, but from the little bits that I have seen, I think he'd be great for us.

Yep. I would even try play a lop sided 4-3-3 with Fabinho, Herrera, Nainggolan and Pogba in the side at the same time. Let Martial + Rashford cheat and stay up top saving energy for counter attacks. Would work lovely.

Even a 4-1-3-2 with Pogba/Herrera/Nainggolan flying forward

Don't do it to yourselves our midfield hasn't been great for what seems like a decade.

 I know, it seems so easily achievable but inevitably won't happen. We will be stuck with Fellaini starring in every game and wondering why we struggle to score goals.

Nainggolan and Pogba in midfield... well at the very least it will be ridiculously op on Fifa 18.

He's a mad motherfecker, would love him here. Weird though, he always spoke of never wanting to leave Roma.

While I cant see us signing Radja, even if we did I'd still sign Fabinho!

We need more quality in Midfield, so if we play 3 in midfield, choosing from Radja, Pogba, Herrera, Fabinho would be superb. Still have Carrick / Fellaini if injuries get too much.
And Pereira!
With a decent run in the domestic cups, and CL, we'll play 60+ matches, having 6-7 players for 3 midfield spots, isn't a bad thing.

Would be a great signing but after missing out on Griez I won't get my hopes up.

Massive fan of this guy wanted him here last summer too he would be fantastic alongside any of Herrera/Fabinho/Pogba in a midfield 3.

He loves Roma but if Roma want to sell not a lot he can do and not a chance Conte and Chelsea won't be sniffing around him too so woody would really have to step up his gane here.

With those options, I don't care who our defense and attack is we'd be right up there.

If we cant get in a top striker, lets get a top midfielder.
I think the same as well. Rather than shelling £50 M for Perisic or £90-100 M for Belotti we could try to get Nainggolan for £60M or £70 M whatever. He would improve us instantly. That way, we have made definite positive progress with our squad and missing out on a few players hurt us that badly.

Not saying the others should not be obtained, but think we should change our priority to Nainggolan now and think about the striker situation towards the end of the window.

These both look amazing! I reckon we'd destroy most midfields with either of these.

One of the best midfielders in the world, imo. But I don't think that he wants to leave Rome or that Roma will let him go.

After some pretty underwhelming rumours of unproven players for astronomical fees, this is more like it. What a great signing this would be.

Not his biggest fan, but he'd make a lot of sense, if we are not getting our preferred striker and simply add the goals from elsewhere. Pogba is probably going to score more next season and Nainggolan could provide plenty as well.

60-70M quid???? I would have thought tops 40 or so given his age.

Also, we lacked goals last season, we still need forwards and a 9 in particular.

Roma got Monchi in. Monchi will be reviewing their stock and key acquisitions and it seems ("out of my hands now") he reckons it's time to cash in.

Not sure how good an idea it'd be if he doesn't want to be here.

Getting really depressed over reading those exact words repeated again and again.

Not like Manchester is a nuclear drop-out zone, totally okay place to pick up £200k/week for a few years, not like you work until you are 67 as a football player either.

They all must have some sort of Vitamin D deficiency since they are so worried about the sun.

It's not about Manchester. He's always spoken about wanting to finish his career at Roma. If and it's a big if, he's being forced to leave to cash in on him, it wouldn't be a great idea to buy him. Last thing we want is someone who's bought to fill such a critical role being half arsed.

If he didn't want to come he wouldn't. He isn't a fecking slave. All he is saying is he would have stayed if the club wanted him to, which is fair enough, particularly when it seems inconsistent with him vowing his undying love before.

You could say the exact same thing about Morata really.

Yeah it was more a general comment, with Morata's wife wanting Italy, Di Maria hating Manchester, Griezmann talking about the sun etc.

Just wish we had more talent in Scandinavia, Manchester would be eternal spring for us.

Well, if a club wants a player out, he goes especially when his salary would get a huge hike. There's no win I'm staying. Take Thiago Silva and Ibra for instance, went because Milan wanted the cash. In any case, I don't really care about his love for Roma as long as he leaves it behind when/if he moves and gives his 100%. It's when the player has his mind elsewhere that it becomes a problem.

My feelings are the same for Morata as well.

Yeah, that's a problem top clubs in England are facing with the talent pool being so thin in regions where they are held in high regard.
