His ball carrying ability is no less than Lionel Messi, Luka Modric and Eden Hazard's.
What usually let's him down is his decision making with his passing and the weight of the pass when executed.

All on the same level or better(dybala is outright better). For us though, only Dybala i'm sure would be better than Isco

That's proper scouting like. His control and having the confidence to play out of any tricky situation is exceptional, also has great hair.

A very good player that combines tremendous strengths (technical ability, ball control in tight spaces, good sense of how to combine with others) with significant weaknesses (a mediocre athlete for a top footballer, especially for a player that is usually used as an attacker). Currently undergoing the transition from underrated to overrated.

Best #10 in the world for me. Said it before but nobody could come into that madrid midfield and do a better job then anyone there currently. Modric, kroos and isco are the best in the world at what they do and they do it brilliantly together. Casemiro behind them has turned into a very good player as well.
Of course, for them to be so successful with a diamond like that they need excellent fullbacks in an attacking sense, and marcelo is as good as any left back Ive ever seen going forward, so he's as important as anyone. Probably Modric, marcelo and ronaldo are the 3 players who are there most important, but then their others are all world class as well.

I remember us being linked with him when he was at Malaga and then seeing that article about him being too slow for the wing. I suppose at the time it wasn't a bad shout, as Fergie didn't really play with a 10 and he would have most likely struggled on the wing like Kagawa did.
