This plonker needs a lengthy rest. Others have been left out for being shite for a few games, he's been shite for quite a while now.

HELLO
I don't get what he offers that Martial doesn't. If he's winning headers then it's understandable - but he hasn't been doing that.

Should have taken that chance but he’s been fed on scraps today. Long balls pumped up to him all day long in the hops he can knock it down for someone else. It’s like watching Stoke. Utterly woeful.

Absolute shite. Fault for both goals, missed a sitter, cant win a header, loses the ball virtually every time he gets it.

Time to be dropped, cost us the game today and both Rashford and Martial are much more deserving of that place as the number 9

Useless, to be honest. He's looking like a massive waste of money at the moment. Hopefully proves me wrong by the end of the season, but I'm not holding my breath.

I will try to not be emotionally impacted in what i have to say about Lukaku.

My idea of a quality forward is one that doesn't rely on confidence and can reliably score 100% chances. I don't need strikers to be dribblers, passers, or speed merchants, I want to know that they can score when put on the spot.

For me, Lukaku is not really that clinical forward that we need in such matches. He might be great against the lower teams who he can bully. If Jose wants to play this kind of disruptive "football" he needs a clinical forward.

Dreadful in what measurement? He obviously is a very talented footballer.
What exactly is his talent? He can’t hold up the ball, can’t control it, can’t header, he’s not a great finisher, he’s weak for the size he is and he’s tactically inept.

Needs to be gotten rid of. Big game bottler and not good enough for this football club.

Awful clearance to gift them their 2nd. Missed a sitter instead of equalizing. What more needs to be said? Other then out 75m striker can't control a ball or run with it to save his life. He did more for City then for United in this game. Just not a United quality striker.

It's not just the miss, his all round game has been fecking horrendous.

His defending for both goals, particularly the 2nd, was unacceptable. He had the entire pitch to aim for and he's smashed it into the crowd of players.

Just fecking shit.

Disgustingly bad far too often in recent games. Needs both a hairdryer and a Keano "breaking" session on a daily basis.

Actually cannot believe he is our main striker. Have our striking options ever been this bad over the last 20 years barring the seasons under LvG? Cannot believe we paid 75 mil for this guy.

Utter shite. Just a big lump that adds nothing.

Wonder if Everton will swap and give us Rooney back

That was absolute shocking.

He did nothing to prove he can be an elite striker in such a big game, he's just proving the claims of him being a flat track bully.

Ibrahimovic missed tons of chances like that all of last year especially the big games. Stop acting like this has never happened.
Yeah he did. Which was why I'd hoped we'd get a better striker.

Van Persie would have offered more today, and he's been declining for a couple of years.

Ask yourself whether Real Madrid or Barca would pay 75m for him and it makes you think how often United just piss away money on poor players

Bad game has new meaning from today. Lost header for one goal, bad clearence for second, missed 10000% chance.
And yes, ruined my day.

Jesus lads, relax. He was shite today, but some of the vitriol going his way is beyond pathetic. He had a bad game and it was up to Jose to take him off and move either Rashford or Martial into that position but he didn't.

I'd be happier if he did his usual disappearing trick instead of this garbage.

Today was the perfect opportunity to put an end to the whole "shit in big games" thing yet he decided to prove them so incredibly right.
