Alexis Sanchez | Done deal

Why are we going for a 30 year old Sanchez when Walcott, Sturridge, Sissoko, Mahrez and Moura are all available? We could hardly get three good years from him unlike the others who have the potential to make the RW position theirs for the next decade.

I think it may already be a done deal between Sanchez and City, which is why they see no need to pay what Arsenal are asking. They'll just pick him up in the Summer for free.

Are you taking the piss?

I have my both justifications ready

If he joins us : one of the best in the world and we proved a point

If he joins City : overpriced, overrated old player who has only 2 years left.

Let me know when to post what:D

It’s exactly what I’ll think

Is that a joke.

Walcott?

Sturridge

Sissoko.

At which point should I start to laugh?

Please remind me, has Ballbag ever broke something that turned out to be true (and someone can claim, see Ballbag already predicted it) ?
He's useless. He didn't even know Coutinho was moving to Barcelona a couple hours before Coutinho moved to Barcelona, despite him supposedly being the La Liga expert.

Lizard

Football transfers are so childish. I miss the days when Andy Cole is announced out of the blue on Big Breakfast when I'm eating my Frosties.

Get out.

Walcott and Sturridge are literally a few months younger than Sanchez?

Di Maria. But that was only hours before it actually happened if I remember correctly, and we'd been heavily linked to him before that.

Generally speaking he's a nobody who desperately wants to be seen as ITK. He loves the attention.

Not surprised Balague is going with the "will he choose money and the evil United, or will he go with his heart and Saint Pep" angle.
It's all about the clicks.

So when he wanted City last summer everyone said it was only because he wanted trophies and honours but now suddenly it's all about money?

It may only be negotiation tactics from City that press briefing but surely it can only be seen as a good thing for us that the club trying to portray him as a money grabbing ... eh .. prostitute.

Good lad Gary. However, "Slightly bigger club". I don't agree with that
We are a much much bigger club.

All of the press is so far pep's arse they can probably taste the food is chewing.
If city get this deal done, "United are shit negotiators who couldnt convince sanchez to sign, should have gotten him at any price etc."
If united get the deal done,"He moved cause of money, oh pep we love you, where is your arse i need to kiss it".

Oli Kay is a true hater isn't he? The other way to look at this is that by paying the agent fees City got a player that helped them win the title in 2011/12. Likewise with Hazard in Chelsea's case.

We went over a decade saying there was no value in the market, refusing to butter up agents and pay big signing on bonuses and wages. That was fine while we had Sir Alex. Since he retired what's it got us?

At some stage Man Utd has to use its spending power otherwise what's the point? To pay out big dividends to the Glazers like Arsenal does with silent Stan and co.?

I'm still of the opinion that this is all brinkmanship between Arsenal and City but I'll be delighted if we sign Sanchez. Its clearly gonna boil some p!$$.

Can't wait for Mourinho's press conference to shed no light on the situation.
