I said yesterday something has spooked City, either Sanchez/Agent/Arsenal have now increased their demands to what City had originally thought was set in stone at a lower price for January. The 15 point lead will come into play too. Also from what ive heard, Arsenal fecked us about in August and Soriano thought they took the piss out of us regarding that. So maybe now thats why we are sticking with this £20 million offer. Its what Alexi's next move is going to be. He clearly doesn't even want to wait until the season's over, burnt every bridge there.
So he's hoping Arsenal except our lower offer or he comes to you guys, who are prepared to meet the financial package. He ain't staying past January's deadline day. I'm certain of that.

Exactly this. Money wise, both United and City could offer around the same if they want. What we probably offer ahead of City is a more important role where he can make a clear difference to step us up a level. City's already the best. Plenty of cases in the past where a player prefers to join the team where he can be the difference maker to step them up to the top level, instead of joining a team already at the top and will just be "part of the system".
