I reckon we will have this one wrapped up by tomorrow morning and he will be at Old Trafford tomorrow evening.

It’s because to call them a money club is pretty hypocritical when we were able to buy way beyond most of our competitors needs when we were the dominant club.
We’ve been a money club for a far longer period than they have.
United have money because of success. City have success because of money. Period.

Difference being how that money has been earned.

Where the grass is greener.
That comment is based on my observation whenever I watched Arsenal games where Sanchez played, not a big sample granted, maybe around 6 or 7 games.
The bloke has been utterly disgraceful this season, his conduct has been shocking. Hopefully if we do get him, we never see the same sort of antics again.

There's nothing to suggest that our personal terms (ie money) are better than City's. It's just that city don't want to match Arsenals asking price.
Multiple sources have reported that we've offered a vastly better overall package then city.

Calling a team after the city they're from reminds me of PES, 'Manchester Red' etc. Have you never heard of Notts County? One of the oldest official football teams. Gave Juventus their kit.
I was just being lazy. Heard of Notts County. Not sure about Juventus though.

UK, hun?
City have the league all but won, but what about the Champions League? Sanchez isn't cup tied so you'd assume they'd see him making a difference there, even if his contribution domestically is inconsequential.

England:
That would be a very exciting transfer if it were to happen, but where would it leave Martial and Rashford?
Sanchez is a world class player. He will elevate our attack massively and that’s what we need to concentrate on initially.

I genuinely can't believe City's position can change so drastically in a matter of months. How do you go from sanctioning a £60m bid in the summer to refusing to budge on £20m in the winter?

They spent £26m on a back-up full back in the summer and now they're willing to let a player of Sanchez's ilk sign for a rival because they deem £35m to be too much for him? Either this isn't the whole story or they are incredibly stupid.
£35 million transfer fee and probably £100 million on wages and agent/ signing on fees. That’s a hell of an out lay for a player that won’t be a guaranteed starter week in week out.

I’m guessing that Sanchez will be demanding a starting spot too. It would be stupid of City to give that assurance when none of the existing attackers deserve to be dropped.

Not at all, Lukaku would stay up top. Sanchez would likely play behind him or as a nominal RW, essentially taking Mkhitaryans place. Or who knows, maybe we will play him ahead of Rashford and Martial at LW. Regardless, he would make us a hell of a lot better.
Either way the truth of your last sentence is beyond any doubt. We could see Mourinho go on with quite a few experimental lineups.

As much as I think he'd improve you and certainly wouldn't complain if he came to City, Sanchez should go to United. We've found a balance with Sterling, De Bruyne, Silva, Sané and Aguero/Jesus that shouldn't be unnecessarily disturbed with so much of the season still to go. If we're going to go for another attacking player - which we do need, in fairness - we should be looking at someone who can rotate with Aguero and Sané, not take their place in the side, especially not someone who'll be 30 in under a year. A young, direct winger who can play on both sides is the sort of player we need for the long-term. I'm sure Sanchez would give us a great boost for the rest of this season but I'm not sure how much more of a boost we need. We're fifteen points clear in the league (it'll be 12 points by tomorrow night, but all the same), into the knockout stages of the Champions' League, and halfway to a cup final, and we've achieved that without Sanchez. Beyond the summer, what happens? Does Aguero leave because Sanchez is Guardiola's first choice, only for Sanchez to decline in a year or two? Does Sané have his development hindered by Sanchez taking his place? Like I said, he's a fantastic player and I'm not exactly happy he's going to United, but I'm not sure where a player like him fits at City without affecting the balance we've discovered.

They're 15 points ahead in the league, one foot in one domestic final, looking guns all loaded for the rest of the season, and are possibly working on other younger targets about which they don't wish to speak publicly.
It might be as much not wanting to pay the reported £400k p/w and however many millions to the agent, only KDB at City deserves that sort of cash and he's on no where near that.

Certainly think if I was Sanchez I'd probably chose United now as they're going all out for him whilst city seem pretty meh about the whole thing

I think you also need to look back at our transfer record and more importantly, the context as well. Yes we spent a lot on certain players, but they were vital cogs of a machine that was comprised of homegrown players, and shrewd purchases, who cost the square root of feck all, even in those days. Never has there been a time until now, where clubs are for example, spending £30m on a back up fullback like City have done, and you can't say it's because of the inflation caused by the Neymar deal because City had already done all their business before that point.
We have a back up fullback that cost us 32mil, Young cost 27mil and was considered a squad player for the longest time.
People mock them spending a 100 mil on two fullbacks but in the way Pep plays fullbacks are a very important part of the system. He relies on them so 50mil for two very important parts of his team doesn’t seem that much.
Reports are we are supposedly interested in Sandro at 65 mil and The Napoli guy now has a 75mil buyout.

Who was on? Not had a chance to watch it yet. Some of them are so out the loop with regards to transfers and reading between the lines.

Arsene Wenger, Mr Popularity:

Get the fukin pitchforks out. Cant believe this old twat is about to let this guy go to united. It was disgusting enough with RVP and he gives them more reasons for half of their fanbases to mock us.

Complete and utter rubbish management. Anyone who calls this shit hole of a club, a 'big' club deserves a bollocking. Even fukin Liverpool who've spent years on the doldrums are splashing out cash on quality like it's nobody's business.
There is a protest march happening next Saturday 20th at 2pm, starting from the Marble Halls. Be there.

All the signs look positive guys.

I'd say we've got a 90% chance here. We wouldn't be getting this much traction if Sanchez just didn't want to play for us. Arsenal are sorting the Malcom transfer first, I think Sanchez will be announced before tomorrow night.

Young didnt cost £27m, he was at most £18m.

Edit: Which I'd argue was a great bit of business considering his achievements and his adaptability.

What surprise me the most if this deal does go through and Sanchez joins United, is the fact that Wenger has actually sold another player too United. I recall him saying that he would never sell another player to United after RVP deal.

We paid for that success tho. We certainly sustained it with success and even made our wallet bigger due to it but we paid to put ourselves in that position.

This will be extraordinary if it materializes. Will give us such a huge lift.

We'll be in for a shout at the CL if we can get him and another central midfielder.

Could always be that City don’t want to pay more as there are apparently FFP restrictions, and they can only do so much ‘creative accounting’

He’s a great player, but a slapped arse. Ozil to us in the summer is a better fit for us and Jose loves him.

Don’t do it to yourselves, calm your inner muppet...Sanchez will be a City player soon enough. Nailed on lads.

And SAF wouldn’t even sell RM a virus.

I'm seriously surprised that psg don't figure more into the "where is sanchez heading?" saga, they don't care about throwing silly money around on transfer fee's and wages, plus the idea of a front 3 attack of neymar, snachez and mbappe would match any other attack in the world right now
