Why do you all talking still about 500k wages? Pogba is on 300k so alexis will be on 350k as some reliable journo said. Plus 100 k on image rights. I am in dark what that image rights are but if alexis has that i suppose that all star players have that.

It's been explained perfectly here:

If we separate the two deals, Sanchez would cost around £30 million now, and if waited to the summer we might get similar (or a bit less) for Mkitayrian, so the fee is £30 million, a very good deal, but around £30 million non the less, wages don't come in to it.

Anyway I don't really care, it is just too obvious to argue beyond this.

Like Mourinho at his press conference, I'm kind of pissed off at how long this is dragging on. Both managers have already indicated that there's a transfer. Guardiola is "congratulating" Sanchez in the media. We need to move on from talking about Sanchez and about other possible targets.

You can make up potential values til you're blue in the face. There is no transfer fee.

If there was no fee we'd be getting Sanchez for free now, and be able to sell Mkitayrian to the highest bidder tomorrow.
Its an asset exchange. There is no fee. You can talk about value if you like, but there's no fee. I can't be arsed arguing about this any more.

There isn't a transfer fee. But there obviously a market value associated with Mkhitryan that we're letting go for free and that's how much Sanchez is going to cost us. It's a subjective value and I don't see how the media is being so specific.

 Would you mind explaining the logic behind that, la?
Fcuk logic, but if the deal is as close to being completed as I feel it is I wouldn't be surprised if United thought sod it, and went the extra mile to complete it if we lose, Good news on a bad day and all.

If we win there's no need, we've got the weekend and Monday to sort it.

Both clubs have to ascribe values to the players for accounting purposes.

Utd is a business, you make it sound like it’s run by a highly strung emotional teenager.

Yea but like most things, market value is almost always higher than book value. Mkhitryan's book value after depreciation would be close to £16-19m.
