I'm tired of reading this stuff it's bollocks.

Sanchez is on a free in 4 months, we could sign him for nothing but instead we're giving them a player worth around the £30m to take him now. Its not like we're swapping like for like, Arsenal will get nothing in 4 months yet they're getting a player Wenger has wanted for a few years.
How is it bollocks? We are getting their best player and getting rid of a player we don't want.

How's he worth more now than we bought him for? If we tried to unload Mkhi this window there's no chance we'd make money on him.

We are getting a world class player whilst losing a player who is surplus to requirements who has proven recently that he isn’t cut out for a) our managers demands and b) possibly the league itself. I don’t see why you have a problem with that.

Those sorts of stories annoy me. The guy offered you £1000 to have sex and you're telling the papers you thought this was a start of a relationship.
I'd say she thought it was the start of a business arrangement. If she thinks that how relationships start she is around the wrong sort of men. He is not going to have a relationship with a girl who is willing to take money for sex, that makes you a prostitute.

Not sure we could have. 4 months changes a lot.

Spin it however you like, doesn’t change anything. Terrible bit of management and business from Arsenal’s POV. I’d personally have taken cash over Mikhi if I were them tbh. They made their own bed and are now going to have to live with it. United just took complete and full advatange of them.

We signed him with a year left on his contract for a start and in the last 2 years the market must have doubled in transfer fee's Mkhit is easily worth around £30m.

I'm not complaining about the deal, Sanchez is a world class player but people are talking like Arsenal have been ripped off when in reality they are 4 months away from getting 0, at least this way they get a player Wenger openly admired even before we signed him from Dortmund.

No problem im very happy with the deal but its not all black and white is it. Arsenal are about 4 months and 20 games away from getting 0 for Sanchez, if he had 2 years left on his contract they wouldn't do a straight swap deal obviously.

Ah, yes the dogs.

I spent the whole Friday going through the instagram account of his dogs.

Haven't read the first page but i assume it's everyone not thinking this deal would happen. Who exactly thought this deal would happen two weeks ago? Certainly not me.

I don't like a lot of the comments about Mkhi. Don't think we've mugged off Arsenal either. They were silly not to sell him in the summer but what's done is done. At least they finally came to their senses and are getting a good player on his day rather than nothing.
Till page 5 or 6 everyone was convinced he was signing for city

Im not spinning anything I'll leave that for the press :P

They obviously believe in Mkhit a player Wenger openly wanted before he moved here, getting a player they like rather than letting a player go for free in 4 months isn't bad business.

The point is we've got rid of a player who is surplus to requirements and directly swapped him for a world class attacker with no cash involved. It's a great bit of business.

It wouldn’t be for nothing though. City were paying him a £30m signing on fee in the summer, we’d have had to pay at least that. And that’s if nobody else had come in in January to sign him...

Thats is true, all im saying is remember that world class player will have 0 transfer fee in 4 months time whilst we'd easily get £30m for Mkhit, its not all black and white.

Nope, reality indeed.

Just don’t tell the Arsenal board or folks down at AFTV...they honestly think this is a great recoup for em LOL
Great deal then. As much as I loved some of Mikhi's football a lot seemed to pass him by. I thought he would do well at Arsenal but my son seems to think they are the worst club he could go to if it's all about confidence

Just read the whole thing and she isn't exactly self conscious.

Claims Alexis tricked her since he had a girlfriend, and she thought they had something special and real love.

..in the same sentence she admits to taking payment for seeing him.
shes/daily mail. Are trying to get the the whole “me too” going on. On basically how this “prostitute” is the victim of another abusing man, who used his position of power. All the better he now plays for United!

@ the bolded, they have been.

Like others and myself have said, doesn’t matter how you spin it Arsenal royally fecked up the Sanchez situation. If you think this is the best they could do idk what else to say. Fact of the matter is they settled for a lot less being in a very disadvantageous position as their options trickled away. Just goes to show their weak hand and how bad United ripped them off.

Players on free transfers end up getting signing bonuses and agent payments not far off transfer fees anyway.

You are forgetting that we will get 4 months out of Sanchez this year who will certainly help us in the league, cups(bar CL) and will have 4 months to bed in the team.

Straight swap between Sanchez and Mkhi is a non brainer. In the Summer with Sanchez already in and Mkhi unlikely to get game time at all his value would certainly drop as well.

You are right, but if we wait for the contract to run down, Sanchez might join other clubs than United. And even if we got the 30m for Mikhi, it would never cover the sum of money to buy someone with Sanchez's stature.

No. Easily? Definitely not. The market hasn’t doubled in price over the last two years as you say. He’s also one and a half years older and he’s been very poor in that period, especially compared to his final season at Dortmund. I don’t see any clubs paying 30m for him and paying the wages he’s demanding, maybe apart from a chinese club, but would he go there?

He's eligible for the CL and all.

I agree. I think he' a fantastic player, I remember hoping against hope he wouldn't be included in the Suarez to Barca deal
