Fack sake, had 15 quid on Iran leading at half time. Touch let him down a bit, gave keeper more time to come out.

One of the most basic skills in football missed there, call for the ball.

“Between them they’ve conceded only 2 goals in their last 16 qualifiers, so it doesn’t take a genius to know it was going to be tight”

I put BTTS on this game.

Morocco with a decent start and a major chance to score, the dull with Iran taking over at the end with their chance. Really bad quality overall, two teams joining in because their confederations are wank. Sad to see these teams ahead of Italy... but hey, that’s how it is.

Both teams have quality and it's an interesting match up of two very different teams. Not the best game ever but it's been entertaining.

There's so much complaining here

Morocco are nothing special. Portugal and Spain will cruise this group.

You say that like Italy play Joga Bonito..

Italy have also been knocked out if the group stages at their last two world cups. Look at the teams in their group at both.

Italy was wank at the last world Cup and lost to Costa Rica.

This is the World Cup. Italy didn't deserve to qualify.

If it's true then it proves that Luckhurst and the MEN have really stepped up again with regards to United related transfers.

Who should play in the World Cup if not two of the best teams of the African and Asian confederations? More joga bonito Europeans like Iceland and Sweden?

 didn’t have a clue about their defensive records. Bollocks.
Both teams need to win this game to have a chance to progress. I can see a goal coming in the second half. And if there's one, the game could always open up for a second. ;)

Why do people have to complain about everything? FFS it's the World Cup - just enjoy it for what it is.

Italy only have themselves to blame, you get thought your qualifying you deserve you place in the Finals.

Wasn't paying attention first half but christ empty seats in this game too. What a waste of time upgrading these stadiums.

Imho this is miles better than the two previous matches, it's just the finishing that's disappointing.

Du-uh, that was kind of my point Einstein. Put any of those teams in Italy’s group and it’s bye bye, put Italy in against Uzbekistan and it’s WC-time. But that’s just how it is with geography and I have no complaints, but it’s still sad Italy and Netherlands are not in the tournament. And the USA I guess, even though they’re not exactly deserving of a shot when they can’t beat Panama

I don't understand what these horns add.

There's a drone of what sounds like vuvuzelas, mixed with some kind of higher pitched horn.

Both of them surely detract from the stadium atmosphere.
