A manager should be looking to get the best out of his players, not drop them to prove a point. There is no way Pogba is inferior to any of the midfielders we had out there tonight, but instead of trying to build around him, he's decided to make the rift public and then get the fans on his back.

Kante is 'inferior' to Pogba as a midfielder. I'd still take Kante before Pogba when building a team. That is because there are fundamentals that are necessary for a good team. Pogba is a luxury player, a cherry on top to an already stacked squad.

By the time Pogba was on we'd already given up playing on the ground it was just matter of hoofball and see what comes out . Not judging him based on 15 minutes the ball was flying over his head and the team camped in their own half.
