Custis should absolutely be banned by the club now. It was a trash story from the beginning anyway.

noone should ever be taking that scum seriously. The journalist was Neil custis btw. one of mourinhos staunchest defenders.

Such a shame that someone in this thread is already taking the scum seriously and have more believe in The Sun rather than the players themselves

Custis is normally good when it comes to transfer news, but his love for Mourinho has made him alittle bitter regarding Pogba since Mourinho was told to feck off.

I shouldn't need to back it up though, in post #7832 in reply to @kouroux post I said With the grief he's currently getting Lukaku is hardly likely to come out and say he was pissed at Pogba for not giving him he penalty was he ?

The numerous articles about the alleged bust up came out 30+ hours after my comment above, now if i'd read said articles then commented fair enough, but the timeline is there for all to see.

And unless it's been updated recently that tweet was about his partner/kids, and nothing to do with the penalty.
 mate, you were way off, just accept it

How many games is he suspended for? Will he be back for the quarter final? Still feels surreal just typing that...

Go ahead and give him the armband Ole...the guy is clearly captain material regardless of what the naysayers put out

Invisible today. Like I had serious trouble noticing he was on the pitch many times.
He had a few really creative moments as always but he didn't get the ball anywhere near enough. Our centre back duo are terrified of passing it into our centre mids, and our centre mids are so slow at moving it through the midfield. Unfortunately Pogba resigns himself to that reality rather than taking the bull by the horns.

Imagine how good we'll be with an actual midfield!

No show in yet another big game. Not surprising at all. Kept it simple but it was not the time to be simple with us chasing the game.

Pogba and big games just don't mix do they? Certainly think the ratio of good performances in these games must be 1:5 or something at this stage.

Had the week off and still looked poor today.

Once again outplayed when we meet a decent midfield. Terrible performance.

He's been poor for some time now. Gets a leeway cause he's ace and has been mostly fantastic under Ole but he has to step it up. Our forwards aren't ready to bail us out week in week out.

As harsh as I may sound, I doubt we can be contenders for big trophies with pogba alone as a creative midfielder in the lineup. We need more creativity in the middle than just pogba alone. He is pretty much nullified in big games as always.

Why do people keep giving him this excuse? What top players aren't heavily marked?
Its the same kind of excuse as people expecting him to put in a big performance just because he was rested. Cardio wasnt the issue today, he didn't have any time to create and a lot of shots and passes got blocked.

Very poor today, that was quite literally a dogshit performance, but it does happen occasionally even with the best of footballers.

Another big game, another average/poor performance. But let's continue to stay blind to that. He was sacrificing himself again, was triple marked and what not.

We do struggle a bit when he doesn't turn up.
A bit? He is not a responsible player at all. he loves to leave his midfield responsibilities to his other partners which puts a strain on their performance. In the first half he kept staying out wide while we were trying to play out form the back.

He wasn't terrible per se but him leaving his midfield duties usually changes the dynamics of our game for the worse. Everyone loves to blame matic and fred when we get overrun but turn a blind eye to the reason why this always happen.

Have said it many times. He is great at 10 or pretty average creative wise anywhere else when opposition can play.

A few nice touches and passes here and there but overall not good enough. At time he was guilty of holding onto the ball for too long or caught in possession, I think he came into the match expecting to be able to stroll across the pitch because its Arsenal.

Don't know what he needs. A rest? he's had that and it's the same. Maybe it's just one of his bad patches. We need him and Lukaku to have their good patches till the end of the season. And Rashford to start playing proper.

I mean we did still create enough chances to get something from the game even without him playing well
