If Liverpool don’t win the league this season it would be mental. They’ve won game after game during the rights periods, been almost unbeatable and had the luck and decisions at crucial moments. Mental that it isn’t even in their hands.
That's just how good City is. Mental isn't it?

I certainly won't feel depressed.

However, I think Spurs will throw a monkey wrench in City's title race before that. Spurs have an annoying habit of winning just the wrong games.
They're such bottlers they can even bottle their rival's title challenge.

Kepa desperate to add his name to the impressive list of Premier League keepers to gift Liverpool goals this season.

Genuinely can’t believe there’s fans of our great club saying they would prefer City to beat us in the league, rather than us get top 4.

Yes fighting for a CL place is not where we want to be, but we are lucky to be in the fight for it with the horror show we seen under Mourinho!!

Regardless, we need CL football to attract the best players in the world, and if we are going to be overhauling the squad, then being in the CL is huge.

Couldn’t care less about what Liverpool do to be honest. As long as we give it our best and finish as high as we can I’m not bothered!

Why are we acting like we have a choice in whether we lose to City? They are a much, much better team than us.

We haven't beaten a single big club at Old Trafford this season. P7 W0.

Juve 1-0 defeat
Arsenal 2-2 draw
Spurs 3-0 defeat
Valencia 0-0 draw
Liverpool 0-0 draw
PSG 2-0 loss
Barca 1-0 loss
 even over the last few seasons, it's always been in the away games that we beat City. The only recent home wins I can remember is under LVG and the 2-1 win with the Rooney bicycle.

Oh well. No any football news and media until the beginning of next season.
Damn shame we don't have a big international tournament to take my mind off it.

Then again, watching England play will be full of commentary about title winning captain Henderson passing it to title winning Trent.

Weird we’re pondering whether we should lose to City. I imagine they will spank us regardless of our motivation levels.

Imagine, after all this scouse jubilation, city just go out and win all remaining league games and take the title.

Liverpool's greatest ever league season and they end up 2nd.

That's got to be the hope now

Few and far between.

However, I hope we either beat them or lose to them. A draw does nobody any good!

Who am I kidding. With the way we are playing I think we lose.

Highly doubtful mate.

I think both teams will drop points. Nobody will run the table. Especially with European competition to tend to.

In before people coming moaning and complaining about Hazard talking and laughing with Salah after the match.

I’m not even pondering it, I hope we get spanked because it’ll stop them winning the league and maybe be a wake up call to the boardroom if where we need to be

I think the only times we beat them at home since Fergie retired was that 4-2 under LVG and the 1-0 League Cup win with Mata scoring. Pretty horrendous.

Their fixtures are incredibly difficult. Spurs away in CL in 2 days time followed by them again at home, 3 days later United away followed by Burnley away. If they get through in CL then that is Juve sandwiched in between Leicester at home and Brighton away.

I see them dropping points in one of them.

I really don’t give a shite where united finish at this point, but scousers winning the league would be unbearable
I admire your honesty but top reds will be out with their pitchforks and onto you after reading that.

But City are getting knocked out on Wednesday.

Liverpool look more likely to drop points than city atm to be fair. Wouldn’t surprise me if that happened. City are relentless.

I dont think city had anywhere near this amount of luck. They have their work cut out for them.

If you're wrong then you need to agree some kind of forfeit.

Perhaps you will have to wear a Spurs shirt for a week
the tough games for city were ones like today at palace away. They can turn it on against the big sides if they want. But the hardest games left now are ones v the sides fighting to stay up etc
