Under a tree.
One of the most enjoyable 10 v 11 games I've seen, such a shame it was ruined as a genuine contest after 10 minutes...

Perfect result with Spurs position now under genuine threat. Can't afford to treat the City game as collateral now.
You couldn’t be more wrong. Arsenal LOSING tonight would have had us all guns blazing v City.

Now we know we can’t get fourth. Players on their holidays v City!

That’s the never say die attitude united is famous for
Fourth isn’t a trophy. Our fans need to get that into their heads again.

Most proper Utd fans I know don’t care about fourth. They don’t want to see Liverpool lift the Premier League.

Fully deserved at least a point tonight with 10 men. Also were without Deeney from 10th and no Pereyra or Deluofeu in 18 so missing loads of decent attackers.

Arsenal play like this on Thursday and they will lose 4-1.
Yeah, considering all that it's impressive that they remained competitive.

I'm expecting Napoli to win but Arsenal to still quality. Salzburg could've had a couple themselves away to Napoli but didn't convert their chances. I reckon Arsenal will get a goal at least.

Then again, their away record..

Our lack of urgency is disgusting. We pass the ball around like we are 6-0 up.

Obviously I'm thrilled to get the win but that was a hideous performance.

Arsenal shite and Watford did really well. Deeney was hard done by there a yellow card at worst it was only 10 minutes in and a first offence. Everyone, commentators people on here seems to think he deserved that red were they watching a different game?

No way was there violent intent. Torreias such a short ass I reckon Troy thought it was shoulder to shoulder Bloody refs don't seem to have license to use common sense anymore.

Sky have got to stop the ex players commentating on their former clubs. Smith was so biased tonight towards Arsenal. Granted nowhere near Carragher level but, jesus christ.

Neville is the only one i have watched and never thought "biased"

Trophy? The point isn’t about winning fecking trophies. It’s about being the best we can be. feck Liverpool. If they win it, then they deserve to win it and we don’t. I want us to beat city, and every other team in front of us because I want us to beat city and every other team in front us. Liverpool never enters my head, I’m not that petty.

Think they'll conserve all their effort and energy for the CL game and lose the following game if i'm honest. They'll probably lose the match but one away goal might be enough for them midweek, and then City get their revenge at the weekend and blow them away like they did with Chelsea.

Fecking hell what hole did you come from? Wanting United to loose and then having the audacity to use the term most proper Utd fans

You wouldn't know a proper United fan if you fell over one outside Old Trafford

Exactly.
I watch City games a nervous wreck. I analyse their matches, keep tabs on their injuries and get so happy when they score.
Oh and keep one eye on how Utd are doing.

You are weird. Hating another team more then you like United isnt something to be proud of you know. You really shouldnt be shouting it around like you seem to be.

Hating Liverpool is a prerequisite to being a United fan. It is the same as Barca and Madrid fans. To say otherwise is to ignore the history of the clubs, and without history a club is nothing. Although I wouldn't expect fans to understand that, they support players more than they do the club, millions stopped supporting Madrid/Barca when Ronaldo/Neymar left.

Crazy Arsenal look to be getting top 4. How have United allowed this? Seriously Jose had no business even receiving a severance package. Emery is a miracle worker.

Hate more than love? Sorry, I don’t buy into that petty mindset. I want us to do as well as we can first, everything else is second. If Liverpool don’t win, cool. But I’ll be fecked if I’m going to hope or advocate or that we lose games to make that happen. And I sure as fecking shit won’t be celebrating a lose to city like some on here seem to be suggesting they will.

Most "proper" United fans want to see United play in the CL, not fall even further behind the rest. We're not exactly in a position right now where we can sacrifice a couple of seasons just so the blue wankers in Machester will be happy for a while instead of the wankers in Liverpool.

If you put another teams failure over your own teams success then you're not a fan at all in my book.

Yeah what I don't understand is the so call love for City even though they are our second biggest rivals. So much hate for Liverpool that it turns people into feeling great about City wins. I liked when Gerrard did slip and they didn't win it the last time even if I didn't like that City won it. Think I struggled to watch football that season a lot since I was so down over it all.
Although I didn't want us to get spanked by City that season to help stop Liverpool. We got it anyway and it did hurt. Probably people being happy with it then too although mainly since they did think we would kick Moyes out.

Red Card for Casemiro!
Not a proper United fan if you hate another club more than you love yours.

Not a proper United fan if you can't respect the weight of history in our rivalry with Liverpool.

Wonder who comes up with these rules.

Wonder if all these guys will turn up to City's open top bus parade if they win the league.

There seem to be a lot of hope us to get spanked for our manager to be sacked, players kicked out, more transfers or to stop Liverpool, team x.

Of course good things can come from defeats in the long run. Although the point of being a supporter is to enjoy the games and hope your team win. We can all complain here about what we hope would be different and what we should do to improve in the future. Although hoping for us to get beaten to achieve these things seems strange to me.

Spurs have been through their shit patch like we did with our draws. They're flying now and as I suspected Moura and Son are flourishing without Kane in the way. They are riding on their crest, like Ole was doing earlier in the season. In summary I have more confidence in a 'tired' Spurs summoning something special than a rested Utd. Given up hope on them, they really are a bit crap. No offence to Utd fans on here (I'm sure some are happy to hear that, Josh).

not happy that Cardiff won last night which means they'll still have hope when we face them. I really hope we kill their hope in 1st half itself by getting good lead.

All the remaining four games are easy only paper but they are not going to be as easy as we would like to think. We are not City who can play in 2nd gear and still win by 2-3 goals margin. nevertheless excited and hoping for the best.

I think people are falling into the same trap they are for the Man Utd game. Its like Man City aren't the best team in the league, if they turn up properly, for either of the next 2 games, they can blitz us. Thankfully for the CL game we can afford a loss and still go through but obviously not the case in the league. They have a much deeper squad than us and seemingly an almost fit squad so while we'll likely exhaust ourselves midweek, regardless of outcome, we won't be able to rotate very well (especially with Kane, Aurier, Winks, Dier, Lamela and ?Alli out) while they'll just slot in whichever of Sane/Mahrez, Silva/Silva/De Bruyne etc etc didn't play.

Top 4 is a long shot, and it isn't even a trophy, so sorry for not caring about us getting it. It's like the games last season we lost at the end, they meant feck all because we had nothing to play for in the league.

I'm quite confident that finishing outside the CL will mean we will spend more money, while getting CL will make the heirarchy think we are rosy. Even though a top 4 finish in a single season means feck all, we are miles away from the title.
