career ending
Of course it's not!I only read what has come out recently, quite a few articles contained the information, but I'm happy if that is not factual.

If he is ready to snub Barca for an English club, City will be favouriites to land him: Guardiola, style of play, money, great squad, etc. I guess City are not mentioned because they know de Ligt is Barca bound.Anything is possible, the Ajax players clearly love their club. Having said that if Liverpool were looking for a CB I could really see him ending up there, would tick all the boxes he has stated..... scarey thought.
Probably just a matter of time, as people say Barca need players out.If he is ready to snub Barca for an English club, City will be favouriites to land him: Guardiola, style of play, money, great squad, etc. I guess City are not mentioned because they know de Ligt is Barca bound.
He was let go during Butt's overhaul of the academy. You don't actually believe that do you? We had a scout that recommended him and De Jong when they were 15. He quit apparently off the back of being ignored
Unfortunately it seems that Ole is desperate to give shite like that as much minutes as possible. Most playing minutes
Finally having shit like Jones/Smalling/Rojo etc pays off!
Not when De Ligt comes inUnfortunately it seems that Ole is desperate to give shite like that as much minutes as possible.
I don't think they'd offer him the wages we would or the additional fees to the agent. Maybe they would, but then even after that you have to assume he's a guaranteed starter. Seems a no brainer but I don't think Liverpool would go all out for him when they have Gomez as a great partner for VVD as it stands.Anything is possible, the Ajax players clearly love their club. Having said that if Liverpool were looking for a CB I could really see him ending up there, would tick all the boxes he has stated..... scarey thought.
Did this actually happen? The incompetence at this club seems endless at the momentIs it an option to tar and feather the scout that put Man United off De Ligt last year because of fears of the player becoming fat? Because I sure as hell hope that scout is both an expert in nutrition and a medical doctor to be able to deliver such a in depth review of a players physiology.
He used the players at his disposal, it's not as if some special talents ready for senior football were available to him.Unfortunately it seems that Ole is desperate to give shite like that as much minutes as possible.
Every single person living and breathing on the face of this planet is aware that eating healthy and exercising stops you from being fat, regardless of what your parents look like. It's time we stopped believing any old bollocks as gospel.Did this actually happen? The incompetence at this club seems endless at the moment
Did you not know? We've had Messi, De Ligt, Ronaldo and Kroos on the bench all season. Ole's just a cnut for refusing to select them...He used the players at his disposal, it's not as if some special talents ready for senior football were available to him.
Funnily enough with this fat acceptance movement a lot of obese people have convinced themselves they have no idea why they’re fat. It’s not common sense to everyone, trust me. Anyway that’s a whole other topic, don’t wanna derail the threadEvery single person living and breathing on the face of this planet is aware that eating healthy and exercising stops you from being fat, regardless of what your parents look like. It's time we stopped believing any old bollocks as gospel.
Are there any United players? If so, he will surely go to Barca after seeing them.So England play Holland on June 6th. Someone needs to keep a watchful eye on any of the United players talking to him. We need a lip reading expert at the ready also.
Ah I forgot about Gomez TBH.I don't think they'd offer him the wages we would or the additional fees to the agent. Maybe they would, but then even after that you have to assume he's a guaranteed starter. Seems a no brainer but I don't think Liverpool would go all out for him when they have Gomez as a great partner for VVD as it stands.
They will likely recruit in other areas I reckon.
Most playing minutes

I hope Barca simply don't have the money to give him the deal he wants. They are already well above their head as far as wages go. If they are planning to get Griezmann too, they might hopefully opt out of meeting De Ligt's demands.Doubt Liverpool are in for him. Having said that, he’s Barcelona bound for sure. Just trying to get himself the best deal possible at Barcelona. We’re merely a negotiation tool. Thinking he’d join us in our current state is just naive.
Not quite - the window closes in 71 days.We have 3 months of this to look forward to. Pace yourselves people.
Ole can only work with what he has. I hope the new deals given to Jones and Smalling are only to not lose them on cheap and at best as back up options.Unfortunately it seems that Ole is desperate to give shite like that as much minutes as possible.
I think we'll know by June 15 max. Both teams have already made their bids so the player's decision is the only thing that's holding things back. This is going to be a long drawn out Saga, only the strongest will survive
As I said man, only the pack survivesThis is going to be a long drawn out Saga, only the strongest will survive
Who is he competing against at Barca? Umtiti who's knackered, Pique in decline and Lenglet. He'll be a fixture in the starting 11 over there too. Most playing minutes
Finally having shit like Jones/Smalling/Rojo etc pays off!
This is what I've noticed the most. So many of these saga's are about players wanting to move to a CL club, but he hasn't mentioned this once. Obviously it would be important in the long run, but that's why I think he's coming here. Maybe Raiola has told him to leave it out so Barca increase their offer though.Clear as day, he's coming to us.
None of this CL talk. Nothing about any one club being his dream; Ajax was his dream and that's been a reality. Time to focus on his career. Has a cheeky side to him that's endearing - likes to toy with journos...as opposed to cryptic comments and interviews that's as straight an answer you'll get. And most of all, we know he likes the Premier League.
If we're in for him and the likes of Stam, Rio, VDS, Blind are talking up United and Ole really sells the team plan to him then I can see it happening over Barca.
I can see that happening shortly after his last match for Ajax. I think he'd like to finish the right way, rather than playing as Ajax captain, already signed for another club.I think we'll know by June 15 max. Both teams have already made their bids so the player's decision is the only thing that's holding things back.
What? No way!Buckle up muppets! June is going to be a roller coaster! Enjoy the ride
If it's not money he's barca boundFeel like he's coming to United. The way he talks about playing time and development, then goes onto talk down the United offer. Sounds to me like he's trying to tell us (the general public) he's not a money grubber.
Isn't it already over? He is already training with the Dutch team now.I can see that happening shortly after his last match for Ajax. I think he'd like to finish the right way, rather than playing as Ajax captain, already signed for another club.
