WWC19 | Final: USA v Netherlands

Lloyd has great technique. That she came even close to keeping possession was impressive.

England down to 10.
England had their chance and they blew it. The English captain completely bottled it.
The USA team were definitely getting nervous when England were pilling on the pressure.

Jesus Christ,s i there any country as shite as England with taking pens??

Mens team improved a lot recently, scored something like 11/12 in the last two shoot outs and Kane is best since Shearer in general play.

I knew that stupid booking for Bright in the first half would come back to haunt us. Wasn't even a yellow

The foul she committed should have been a straight red anyway.

This is the first womens game I've seen and I am seeing much diving. Morgan took a very easy dive, there.

How in God's name was that not a penalty? She was taken out mid shot. The American didn't mean it, but clearly clashed against her leg as she was taking the shot.
Aye I’m perplexed that everyone could have seen and watched all those slow motion replays and not come to the same conclusion that it was a penalty. There was contact and she impeded as she was about to tap it in. Seems a clear penalty to me.

England shouldn’t be trailing here. But oh well. You miss penalties, it’ll cost you.

Should be red carded for the dive. First a yellow card for the dive and secondly how shit the dive was.

How come our left back hasn't played this one?
