Get a grip mate. Social media means people can post what they want. If it gets you so mad, you probably shouldn't follow him on social media.

I'm an atheist, but I couldn't care less what footballer's religions are and how religious they are.
I don’t follow him, I saw the post above and wasn’t impressed personally. By the way it could be any religion before I start getting accused of being a xenophobic racist anti islam little englander. Been accused of 3 already none which are true, don’t want the quadruple (see what I did there)

Ole changed his original statement from his people to our people which makes me think he has been pressured into that. I don’t follow him (I know your shocked) but doesn’t he have over a million followers most of which will be kids many who are too young for religion to be something they should be worrying about.
He didn’t say that. And if they’re kids, they’re probably not even going to notice that it’s a Quran recitation, they’re just going to see a man speaking into a mic. Even if they did notice do you think a child old enough to have an Instagram account is too young to know that people follow religions? He’s not pushing his religion at all.

This is what ole actually said :

“Here we go again. FA Cup third round and you're talking about Paul again.

“Paul came back after a long spell out, two games, had a reaction, couldn't go to Burnley, felt his ankle was sore, we did a scan.

“And it's not the same injury, it's a different injury.

“Of course, when you get that scan, we speak to him, you consult your own medical people as well like I did, when I did my operation.

“You want the best second opinion and the advice was to have it done. It's not a major one and probably, as I said, three or four weeks.

“When I said 'his people' [the other day], as in when you consult your surgeon and the ones you trust, that's maybe my bad English.

“You have people you trust and speak to. As I said, when I did my injuries, loads of knee operations, I had my people in Norway and Sweden I spoke to and Paul has people he trusts, and that's more important.

“So that's more or less it. And the FA Cup is the next talking subject, all right? That's as clear as it can be at this point.”

He referred to ‘his people’ in the quotes today as well. He clarified that Ole himself did the same thing Paul is doing now? Let it go, he’s not faking any injury.

I didn't accuse you of any of those. I will accuse you of being terrible at puns though.

Life's too short to worry about what super rich people do with their time.

It was only his people in the MOTD interview, then started changing. You may be right but is it not possible he’s getting pressure from above to protect probably Uniteds biggest asset? Certainly our most expensive investment.

Pretty sure Martial will be the next one to target if Pogba left the club.

Martial isnt sprinting enough, Martial isnt pressing enough, Martial has bad body language and English player Greenwood will be behind him.

99.9% sure the 'anti-Pogba brigade', the media and the 'brexit' fans will be going after Martial next.

Yes use politics to bash people who have had enough of Paul Pogba, his agent, his brothers, his 24 goals in 4 seasons half of which came from the penalty spot less the missed penalties and it’s just plain crap. What’s that 2 and a half goals a season from open play, his assists haven’t got into double figures I believe. This is a supposed superstar, I’d be wary of coming here if I was a player because you lot think it’s fecking good enough.

Yeah what's even worse they will probably back up those claims with some statistics or some other shit instead of simply understanding that Martial doesn't have to either sprint, move off ball or anything.

The best way to start the year thing, I’m not religious in any shape or form but have no problem with anyone’s preferred religion. I’d rather he was concentrating on getting back in shape then posting about fairytales.
So disrespectful

You would "rather he was concentrating"? You're implying that he either concentrates or follow his religion? Where is the logic in this? His religion has nothing to do with concentrating on getting back in shape. This is similar to the haircut argument. It's like you guys believe it's impossible for people to do multiple things in a day or that a simple action completely lasts 24 hours preventing him from football. It just makes no sense.

I'm athiest too, but being athiest doesn't somehow make you more logical apart from in my opinion things regarding religion (not that I care to argue or care what people believe in ). However, this choice you've fabricated where he either concentrates on football or follows his religion is a prime example of how this logic doesn't carry over to other parts of life. You've made no sense and are akin to religious folks in this conversation. Just devoid of logic.

Said this a few pages back myself. They will. He is already scapegoated in games where everyone is much worse. Arsenal game.

Won't be as bad as Pogba but he will be the next one they blame for sure.

I’m not getting into theological discussions on a football forum about religion but this guy has picked up about £5,000,000 since he last started a game. To be fair I’d be posting about god if work paid me that for globetrotting when he should have been in constant treatment as this ankle injury hasn’t healed itself by jet setting and that’s for damn sure.

@fergiesarmy1

When Pogba is on the pitch and does something good (like those 40/50 yards passes he made to put Rashford and Greenwood through towards the keeper for example) do you still enjoy/appreciate those moments? Or do you prefer that he loses the ball so you get more ammunition for you anti-Pogba crusade?

But he was injured. What about it do you not understand?

He had a cast on. Now he is getting or got surgery. This isnt some big conspiracy theory.

Exactly especially when he is the only player in our team who can play a pass that good. He can do it multiple times per game.

Not sure we have another player who could play that pass more than once a month.

I don’t believe the injury has been as bad as it was made out, apparently it’s now a different injury. How is he going to remember which ankle to hobble about on at carrington when he’s running up and down touchlines in France just 2 days prior or taking jump shots in Miami.

There are 11 players on a team you know. Name one player who has carried a trash team to success on his own? I'll wait...

My god your really willing to call every player in the team trash to defend this clown who wants out?
It's the truth, they are. This team is winning jack without top players being added to it. We're a team full of losers, coach included going by his words/actions.

Your talking about a player who hasn’t scored a goal from open play for 11 months now, doesn’t understand what defending is and in his best assist season got what 9? That’s one assist a month.

Don’t really get how he’s carrying anything apart from a backpack full of unearned cash.

We have been without Pogba for most of this season and what a depressing season it's been so far, so i don't think i'm wrong to call us a team full of losers.

Don’t really get how he’s carrying anything apart from a backpack full of unearned cash.
That's also not what i said. I said name one player who has successfully carried a rubbish team to success on his own? It simply doesn't happen. Yet that's what's expected of Pogba though. Why? Because everyone knows this team is winning nothing if he can't perform his best impersonation of Roy of the Rovers to bail us out.

Jesus are you a united fan? We could realistically finish top 4 and win 2 cups 3 would be too many games with the most expensive midfielder in football history nursing a sore ankle unfortunately for the next few months I’ll assume.

Is that a team full of losers if they did that?

Why not say we can win the league whilst you're at it? I'm a realist. We've got Wolves away in the FA cup tomorrow where we're on our knees (got turned over this time last year) and then City next week in the league cup, over 2 legs. We've got no chance of either realistically.

Happy with those stats are you?
It's not so much about being happy with them as the simple fact that he is your best player by a country mile and was the best scorer/creator last season as a central midfield in a team devoid of creativity or performances. With fans like you, who needs enemies for your best players?

So your not a red? You realise only 4 of those came from open play and his assists average one a month.

You realize that open play goals aren't exactly an abundance in this United team? Or that they'll usually result from Pogba creating something. Hard to create and be on the end at the same time. Again, who had the most goals on the team? Who had the most assists?

We can get lucky in a one-off game sure, over 2 legs that's highly unlikely. We're 13 points behind them in their 'poor' season. They are levels above us. Get real.

Yeah i'm a pogbaista or whatever nonsense that is supposed to mean.

He was taking penalties when he is in fact the sixth worst penalty taker in premiership history, let that sink in.

Why was he doing that? Because he’s a selfish prick who wants to make his stats look better even though there are better penalty takers in the squad.

And one assist a month for a £100 million pound midfielder who does NOT go into his own box as if it’s beneath him (check the heat maps) is gash whichever way you want to slant the argument pal especially when he has the most possession of any player because of the way we set up when he can be bothered.

Yet only lost one more game than they have, they are beatable but I guess you will be wanting us to lose so you can say it’s because the “messiah” wasn’t playing.
