Some actually think he's been inconsistent this season. Considering the dross he's been surrounded by for the majority of it, he's had a very promising one.
He really is a quality player, really deserved that hat trick, he and Rashford have such brilliant chemistry.

His entire statement was regarding how martial needs to learn enthusiasm from Rashford, and in the minute or so of speaking he just gave a throwaway line that today was an exception.
The fact he put a standout performance as an afterthought in his evaluation of Martial just points to how biased he is.

His first 20 goal season (hopefully soon) and some say he hasn't progressed. As you say, he missed a decent chunk of the season as well.
His finishing is always great. But it's also important to note that his technical ability gives him a real edge over others. The third goal was a terrific finish but the ease with which he took a perfect touch and the ball in his stride was spot on too.

It's been so difficult playing as our 9 this season. I am so chuffed for him, time to prove the naysayers wrong.
When he is on his game he is such a clinical finisher. Awesome, do it every week please.

The all round game was great. Best he's ever had in my opinion. Just needs to do it consistently. Ok you won't have the same great results all the time, but he needs to do it.
Funny how after the Rashford's miss, in the matchday thread there were like 2 or 3 posts actually blaming Rashford himself for the miss while the following 20 or so posts were blaming Martial for not shooting or giving a bad pass(wasn't a bad pass but a good one for a simple tap in). Just goes to show you the Caf agenda at times

Superb performance. Woke up at 1am just to see how he thrived in a creative attacking unit and boy did he deliver. Hope this will be the real break-out season for our AM9.

So good to see him hungry tonight - the one chance he nicked off Pogba, before he scored his 3rd, summing it up for me. Ole's said he's been challenging him to poach more and it was great to see. Still only 24, great player, and yes he can become an elite level striker in the next 2-3 years, people saying otherwise would want their head examined.
Rashy takes penos though and so does Salah. I believe Martial is on 0 pens, all of them outfield goals. And he missed couple of months too.
His 'oh shit' face when it was pointed out to him that he should go get the match ball was the real highlight.
It won't be long before his detractors are back out. After scoring the winner against City (again), all it took was one quiet game for them to want him dropped.
