The Radical leftists have obviously infected Rudy to stop Trump from overturning the election.

He's not a federal employee right? So where's his health insurance coming from?
GTown Univ Hospital isn't cheap. My kids were born there and they sent me a $100,000 bill for my wife's C section and the week the twins spent in the NICU. And that was 19 years ago.
Did you actually have to pay that?

Haha, he'd have to do the complicated visa process now to get to stay out here. If any Brits wanted to live in a European country and maintain their European rights there, they've just about missed the boat. We can stay here in Italy for as long as we choose, but that wouldn't apply if we suddenly decided that France or Germany was the place we wanted to be.

You're so lucky to all have Irish passports, I reckon that must be the best citizenship in the world now. You can still live in Europe, you can live in the UK - or you could even live in Ireland!
We are fortunate.
You only need one Irish grandparent to qualify. Can you or oates swing that?

I'll go from a place that has 300+ days of sunshine a year to one that has that in a decade? ;)
tbh I'd like to live in Ireland, at least 1/2 the year. Not sure I can convince my wife though, she's not it's biggest fan.

Not a red cent. The gall of them though!
I called up the insurance company and told them I'm not paying as that's what insurance is for. It was a pain to deal with I remember that. Lots of faxes back and forth. They eventually relented and paid. I held onto that paperwork for years in case it came back to me.
They were arguing with me that I ordered the services. I told them I didn't, that the doctors did, and if they had questions they should talk to the doctors as to why they thought my kids should be in the NICU.
They really stressed me out and my son was on a portable heart monitor at the time too. Fcukers!
My son was 4 lbs 3 oz at birth, now he's 5'-10"' and about 175 lbs. The staff at Gtown were brilliant. The level of care was phenomenal.

He must be swimming in dollars. Surely the money he earns as Trumps Personal Lawyer will more than cover any hospital bills. Trump is surely known for paying his bills promptly and generously?

If he’s freelancing, he could still be covered via Obama Care. It only runs $500/month or so for a good plan.

No Irish blood at all I'm afraid, I'm single-county English - 100% Devonian for hundreds of years back. oates is actually half-Austrian, but we wouldn't fancy living there!

Anyway, I'm glad you have lots of ways out of the USA if you feel the need. I think in a couple of years it'll be clearer whether it's calmed down or is just starting to ramp up. I really wouldn't be surprised if another Trump runs in 2024.

That's fecking grim. I had a teacher in secondary school(Nigeria) who was married to an American. The man brought his wife to Nigeria to have their child.
My classmates and I thought is was certified. Why would you bring your wife all the way from America to Nigeria off all places, to have your child? We didn't know we were the stupid ones.

Met a neighbour of mine today. He’s a welsh guy that’s been here for quite a while. Anyway he’s talking about leaving to go back to Europe as he thinks this place is fecked.
I’m in agreement with him though I have to stay for another 4 years. Bloody kids!
My brother in Atlanta is thinking the same way. My other brother in Ohio, him and his wife were getting hassle and aggressive messages because they are a Democratic house

I couldn’t imagine living in a red state, unless my community was a good enough sized blue bubble within that (like Chapelle’s town in OH).
And maybe that’s where the problem lies, we’re all too polarized. I don’t want to be near them and vice versa.
It’s set up to become even more nasty now that trumpy will be shouting from the sidelines and there’ll be even less reason for him to act “presidential”.

All this speculation on trumpy and what he might do, or not do, for the inauguration; I mean who really gives a fcuk. let him hide in his bunker until it's time to leave for all I care.
best thing is to not give him the oxygen.

When do they meet?
Next Monday (the 14th) I think.

Tomorrow, the 8th, is the "Safe Harbor Date". What does this mean? I had to look it up too:

Under federal law, Congress must count the electoral votes from states that act by Dec. 8 to choose their presidential electors — the people who meet next week in each state to cast the actual votes for president — and to resolve any remaining legal disputes over the choice.
